This is just great. I love it that they back it up with some scientific proof. You can watch the whole thing here on flash: http://www.ninjavideo.net/video/64552 <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/PKjUfoIoPas&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/PKjUfoIoPas&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
this is a follow-up to the 2009 series, correct...? I found the entire thing to be harmlessly entertaining... though this posting is sure to bunch up a few undies here... ruffle up a few feathers... I will agree, however, that anything speculative relating to "aliens" and the supernatural.... really should not be aired on channel titled as "the History channel"...
The whole bird/plane/ancient artifact was examined on UFO Hunters. They built a bigger replica of it out of a thick/heavy styrofoam to see if it was indeed aerodynamic and would "fly" and sure enough it did. It even amazed the skeptic Kevin Cook who wouldn't believe in Aliens/UFOs if he had coffee with one of them.
Just finished watching it and wow. I was a big believer as a kid that we had help from an another intelligent specie when I first read Chariots of the Gods but lost interest in it because there was a lack of evidence. It pretty controversial because some might see this as a bunch of scientists producing this show to debunk religions. Their explanation about the the whole mystery of the Ark of the Covenant and that Pyramid was a power plant was pretty interesting.
Debunk religion or confirm is as so? Some believe that aliens are angels/demons. Would explain a lot about the wording in certain Biblical passages.
The dead sea scrolls talk about this kind of stuff quite a bit. Either way, I meant to record this show but cool I know where to watch. Thanks.
saw part of it - will hopefully catch it from the beginning soon. i really liked the one that came out a year or so ago. i dont really subscribe to that theory, but it makes for a cool tv show. i am very interested in ancient civilizations/technology though. if anything, i can see something to the theory of a "lost civilization" going back further than current human history (8-10k years). a single, advanced society (atlantean?) that met w/ some cataclysmic destruction, forcing them to spread out to places like egypt, latin america and south america. there are alot of interesting similarities b/t these very divergent groups as far as pyramid techniques and creation myths. not saying i dont believe in aliens (im agnostic, if anything), but i find the ancient alien theory difficult to believe.
Very interesting show. Those ancient people had something that we are not aware of yet, be it aliens, God(s) or what ever. Would be sure nice to find out.
This series is very interesting. I can't wait for the next one. This is pretty interesting. http://www.catchpenny.org/movebig.html So moving something that's heavy is very possible. But What I want to know is what kind of technique they use to cut some of these hard stones so perfectly and where are the tools? It's so interesting to know how these ancient technology was lost.
THis is very interesting theory about how they must have perfected their stones. But I still can't grasp how amazingly intellect they were back then. Super Concrete in the U.S. Military, Iran … and the Pyramids? http://www.wired.com/dangerroom/2009/10/super-concrete-in-the-us-military-iran-and-the-pyramids/
This is also interesting. Why the pharaohs built the Pyramids with fake stones. I think this theory is pretty solid. I have recalled seeing plenty of large stones laying in the hollow grounds like it's been pour and molded. I find it pretty hard to believe for them to cut thousand/million stone blocks and move them from hundred of miles away. So it seems like I'm debunking this whole alien thing. I'm beginning to think this series is a bit one sided after I did more research. http://www.geopolymer.org/category/archaeology <object width="400" height="251"><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /><param name="movie" value="http://vimeo.com/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=1968155&server=vimeo.com&show_title=1&show_byline=1&show_portrait=0&color=&fullscreen=1" /><embed src="http://vimeo.com/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=1968155&server=vimeo.com&show_title=1&show_byline=1&show_portrait=0&color=&fullscreen=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowscriptaccess="always" width="400" height="251"></embed></object><p><a href="http://vimeo.com/1968155">How to analyze pyramid stones</a> from <a href="http://vimeo.com/geopolymer">Geopolymer Institute</a> on <a href="http://vimeo.com">Vimeo</a>.</p>
I think this is pretty solid evidence about how stone are being made. It's sad that some in scientist community want to accept this theory and how the History channel makes a fool out of some of us. But I still believe an intelligent being are still being involve in some way. <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/znQk_yBHre4&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/znQk_yBHre4&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
