Die Hard best Christmas movie ever!

    I was listening to Mike & Mike in the morning on my way to work, they were listing their favorite Christmas shows/movies/programs and to my surprise Greeny not Golic brought up Die Hard.

    Golic started ranting about how it's not a Christmas movie and so on. Greeny was rebuttling with the fact that it all went down during a Christmas party, the day of, and they were singing/playing Christmas songs throughout the movie.

    I wanted to get you guys' opinion on this highly important matter.

    I for one believe it is. Who's with me? ;)

    Don't get me wrong Die Hard is great but its not the best Christmas movie. That would be Christmas Vacation.

    Christmas Vacation is the best Christmas movie, followed closely by The Ref.

    In fact, my wife and I flip-flop on this every year, we are both jonesing to watch The Ref again, I think we will pop that one in tonight. Awesome movie.

    John McClain even used Christmas tape to conceal his weapon to kill Hans at the end. If that doesn't make Die Hard the best Christmas movie ever I don't know what does.

    Was the fact that it was Christmas integral to the plot? I'd say yes: this one group is in the office after-hours for a Christmas party to be taken hostage, while every other office in the building is closed. You can't really do that in other times of year.

    Trading Places .. Akroid and Murphy both donned a Santa suit I think.. that qualifies it for me. (And it was a Xmas party when Winthorp came in with the gun)

    of course its gotta be Home Alone!! and ya gotta love those old school frosty, rudolph and charlie brown specials.

    don't see Die Hard as a Christmas movie.
