I don't like gossip about celebrities, but since people in this board love it, here is some mroe news/gossip...........this chick claims she has proof. http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/accessho...tar_claims_she_had_an_affair_with_tiger_woods Former 'Tool Academy' Star Claims She Had An Affair With Tiger Woods LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- A former reality star that was dumped by her boyfriend on VH1's "Tool Academy" has come forward claiming she was involved in an affair with married golf star Tiger Woods. Jaimee Grubbs, 24, claims to Us Weekly that she embarked upon a 31-month affair with the sports superstar beginning in 2007 -- a relationship that she alleges included 20 sexual encounters. VIEW THE PHOTOS: Keepin' It Real With TV's Hottest Reality Stars! Grubbs claimed to Us that she has pictures and over 300 sexy text messages from one of the world's highest paid athletes. Last week, Woods was involved in a car crash outside his home in Florida, a crash TMZ claimed happened not long after the golfer and his wife of five years, Elin Nordegren, argued over reports of his alleged affair with Rachel Uchitel, an event planner based out of New York City. VIEW THE PHOTOS: Golf's King Of The Course -- Tiger Woods! Uchitel has strenuously denied an affair. As for Grubbs, she's familiar with the cheating game. The Los Angeles based cocktail waitress was left broken-hearted on the first season of VH1's "Tool Academy" after her boyfriend, Shawn, dumped her on the show after revealing he had another girlfriend. Us Weekly said they will post a voicemail of Grubbs' on Wednesday, allegedly recorded on November 24, which they claim features Woods suggesting that his wife may believe he is having an affair.
I heard the voicemail on the radio this morning (espn in Austin). Sounds legit to me. Let the games begin!
I don't know if he's toast, I mean Kobe seems to have bounced back from an alleged rape and cheating.
Don't get me wrong, I don't think this is gonna destroy his career, but his image is certainly going to take a significant hit with his fan base, which, at least IMO, is comprised of a different demographic than Kobe's fan base. Tiger has worked his entire career to cultivate the perfect image of fierce competitor and consummate professional in what is widely touted as a gentleman's sport by fans of golf.
I have little doubt Tiger will bounce back from this. He might take a hit on endorsements and obviously his image will change a lot, but I think he's mentally tough enough to handle it. I'm more curious to see the reactions of his various fans and detractors.
People don't care about affairs....... He will be fine, the question is, will his wife stay or go, and how much $$$$ does she get if she leaves? DD
^ well he did keep her from getting prosecuted for domestic violence charges by essentially going into hiding for 3 days, maybe that's part of the deal they have struck.
http://web.tigerwoods.com/news/article/200912027740572/news/ Tiger comments on current events By Tiger Woods I have let my family down and I regret those transgressions with all of my heart. I have not been true to my values and the behavior my family deserves. I am not without faults and I am far short of perfect. I am dealing with my behavior and personal failings behind closed doors with my family. Those feelings should be shared by us alone. Although I am a well-known person and have made my career as a professional athlete, I have been dismayed to realize the full extent of what tabloid scrutiny really means. For the last week, my family and I have been hounded to expose intimate details of our personal lives. The stories in particular that physical violence played any role in the car accident were utterly false and malicious. Elin has always done more to support our family and shown more grace than anyone could possibly expect. But no matter how intense curiosity about public figures can be, there is an important and deep principle at stake which is the right to some simple, human measure of privacy. I realize there are some who don't share my view on that. But for me, the virtue of privacy is one that must be protected in matters that are intimate and within one's own family. Personal sins should not require press releases and problems within a family shouldn't have to mean public confessions. Whatever regrets I have about letting my family down have been shared with and felt by us alone. I have given this a lot of reflection and thought and I believe that there is a point at which I must stick to that principle even though it's difficult. I will strive to be a better person and the husband and father that my family deserves. For all of those who have supported me over the years, I offer my profound apology.
I agree with Tiger, he should be able to deal with this privately. However, he has got to be smarter than this, he is getting laid, not because he is some devilishly handsome man, it is because he is a rich, famous athlete. What does he think, that these women love him for himself....I mean come on....lol. DD
thanks for posting that tinman, it really clarifies what happened. good thing it had subtitles otherwise I wouldn't have known what they were saying
