Ah Bluebell, the McDonalds of Ice Cream.. While I think Bluebell is a terribly watered down lackluster ice cream, I understand that Bluebell does have it's fair share or fans.. Some people I know only eat Bluebell, I would suggest trying some better made ice creams or gelatos if you like the high density thing... I recently found an awesome mass produced ice cream that kills anything bluebell makes.. LINK
Poor deluded chap. And yeah, I expect any ice cream that goes for $4 a pint to be good, it BETTER be. But nothing beats Blue Bell, friends, it's just a fact of the universe.
thats the one i like. thought i would read the thread first. my ex loved the stuff and it ended up being my favorite to. havent had it for a few years though.
blue bell expired HEB creamy creations blows out the best blue bell puts out there. when blue bell melts, the liquid is as thin as water.
I hardly eat ice cream, but when i do i prefer quality stuff. blue bell is good cheap ice cream. it's good enough to hold you over. if you want a good burger, would you go to mcdondals or a quality burger place? sure, mcdonalds can be "good enough'.....just like blue bell can sometimes be good enough
Since I haven't had Blue Bell since I left TX years ago, i can't say which is better, but I can say the haagen-dazs reserve does kick some major butt.
I'm with you. Almost any other brand of ice cream is better than BB IMO. I am a sucker for Ben & Jerry's... they don't skimp on the ingredients and it is much creamier...
