    Agree. It's a pity that it has been largely surrounded and is pretty hard to see at its advantage from a distance. Sometimes I wish that the Transco Tower had been built at a prime location downtown. One of our finest towers, it is way off at the Galleria area. It would be a superb addition to the skyline.

    76 would be correct.

    amazingly, our 24 tallest buildings (pennzoil place is 23rd) were all built before 1990.... time to step it up houston!

    You know, a lot of people have mentioned Shanghai but I took a picture of their skyline when I was there and several people I showed it to said that it was ugly. So Shanghai doesn't push everyone's buttons...

    Toronto has a cool skyline, too. I gained more respect for the CN Tower after I took the stairs to the top.

    I've always really like Chicago's. It's a nice mix of old and new, with the waterfront to boot
