"God creates dinosaurs. God destroys dinosaurs. God creates man. Man creates dinosaurs. Man destroys God...." Intriguing none-the-less.
Cloning a tasmanian tiger is not a stretch, but a dinosaur? How are you going to extract the DNA necessary to reconstruct one? And dont tell me from the amber of an ancient tree, because that's hollywood and doesn't work.
I saw a History Channel (caveat) special on this. They think that recreating dinosaurs is as easy as tweaking the DNA of current birds, which they believe are the ancestors of dinosaurs. Tweak some here, and the bird grows a tail...tweak a little bit here, and it has teeth...tweak a little there and its wings are small arms. etc.
We should harvest dinosaurs for food, I hear they inherit from the Chicken! Just clone them without any legs or something.
These were apparently very cool animals. I've been interested in them for several years and they apparently have a small following of people who are very devoted to their memory. The first picture isn't doctored. Apparently they could open their mouth amazingly wide. http://www.naturalworlds.org/thylacine/
