I'm not sure why this is news, I'm not sure why it surprises anyone, and I'm not sure why anyone thinks anything is going to come from this.

That is true... We know Fox employs a massively popular sexual deviant to promote the conservative agenda, and right wingers have no problem listening to a prescription drug addict.

On the Conservative continuum of demagogery, bigotry by association is on the bottom of that list... Unless its reverse bigotry. Then its outrageous and heads need to roll.

i have always thought this dude & limbough was a closet racsist so my dislike for him is nothing new...i do however find it find it kind of funny that he is the leader of this hole guilt by association lynching when in fact he shares the same views a his neo nazi friend hal turner for 10 years.when hurricane katrina hit his main topic was looting instead of the ten of thousands of people left to die.i can never forgive the republican party for that because hannity, limbough,o riley seem to still believe that bush did a great job.now u guys want macain in the office so he can finis the job off that bush started?what the hell is wrong with u people?

McCain is a true American hero. Hussein Obama won't even put his hand on his heart during the national anthem or wear an American flag lapel pin. His wife hasn't been proud of America until Ba'raq ran for President, and Ubama's spiritual advisor from the past 20 years is a racist. Obama is simply not qualified to lead.

McCain is a diseased mind that is not fit to be president.

He has compromised himself and his morals for the chance to become president. He denounced the likes of Pat Robertson and others in 2000 but now kisses their ring to appease the evangelical crazies, he wisely voted against the Bush tax cuts saying it was crazy to raise taxes in a time of war, now he embraces them to appease corporate America. He was on the right side of the illegal immigration debate only to once again flip flop to gain the vote of Hispanics. McCain is delusional in regards to the war and proudly proclaims that he doesn't care if we stay 100 years. Never mind the financial burden having an unending, protracted war in the middle east and how it is decimating our economy or what it will do the future economic health of the US.

At one time McCain was an honorable man that could have been president. That time has passed. But hey! He looks good with that lapel pin.

It would be very advantageous for the US to maintain a long term presence in Iraq. Just like we do in Japan, Germany, Korea, etc. Obama's plan to leave right now as we're finishing the job is what is truly idiotic. The surge is working and he wants to throw that all away. Just stupid. He's just clueless when it comes to foreign policy.

Obama's plan to raise taxes during a period of economic uncertainty is quite possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Just plain dumb.

    Well said mark.

Let's add that McCain is a r****d on economics and the country is facing a serious financial crisis.

His latest actions gives me a feeling that he'll willingly allow experts to bankrupt the system further while he looks the other direction to appease his party constituency. Issues like regulating derivatives and hedgefunds, that Bush has steadfastly denied and even impeded (all while he applauds the Feds unprecedented intervention of the free markets), will likely see a continuation under McCain's boasted ignorance of the math and money stuff.

I could be wrong, but his transformation has been swift and outside of Iraq, there's been a clear lack of consistency with his platform.

Let's not forget the mother of all flip flops that goes to the heart of McCain's so called foreign policy experience. Torture. McCain was against it before he was for it.

As Jorge is want to say, NO CRED!!!

Raising taxes in this environment is the most r****ded of r****ded ideas. That's what Obama would do. I wonder if Jeremiah Wright told him to do that to screw over the white man

This is critical. The financial system's inability to conform to regulation (I believe gifford posted a great krugman article on this) and continually rely on the us taxpayer to bail them out while they make millions is not just irritating and unfair, it's going to end up hosing the us economy.

McCain will not even attempt to remedy this, lest he lose what little support he has.
