If anyone can be a Titans fan after this then they are no less than a ****ing piece of mother****ing **** and they deserve to ****ing die.
I have no ill will towards Titans fans. They did what we couldn't do until it was too late and too expensive ($300 million stadium + $700 million franchise fee). Do I dislike Adams? Yes, but more for trading Warren Moon for a fourth round draft pick - too young for Luv Ya Blue - than for being a shrewd businessman. This is the same guy who, along with Hunt, took on George Halas and the NFL; fought bidding wars for Billy Cannon, and ruined a player's eligibility before a bowl game. Did you really think he'd back down from a term-limited mayor?
Ahhh...the oilers Givens, Jeffires, Hill then Webster Slaughter Moon then the Commander Munchack, Matthews, Lorenzo White, Gary Brown, Alan Pinckett, Mike Rozier Curtis Duncan, Marcus Robertson, Al Smith, Cris Dishman And Crazy George
ahh there it is. I found it. VY in this thread. Anybody see that coming? He was drafted by the Titans btw. Is the name suppose to be a play on the movie Remember the Titans? What channel is NFL Network on Comcast. I haven't even watched tv yet.

Sean Jones, William Fuller, Michael Barrow, Doug Dawson, Blaine Bishop, Eddie Robinson Jr, Joe Bowden, Darryl Lewis, Bubba McDowell, John Henry "Skills" Mills, Greg Montgomery, team mascot Bucky Richardson (did he serve any other purpose?), Al the Boot, Pro-Bowlers at every position, in every unit. Just one full back and a tight end away... Moon was the General, but CODY was the Commander!!
I used to live for the Oilers. The Dome used to rock. Some of my best memories were watching the Oilers with my Dad. Now, me and my Dad go to the Texans games, but it is just not the same. We are passionate about the Texans, but it is just different.
Wrong, try again. Earl was the man , period . He was my hero as a kid . I remember when you could get the magazines with all the teams addresses and write to the NFL teams and ask for autographs and pictures . The Oilers sent me a team photo autographed by most of the team and , they actually sent me a Earl Campbell autographed picture that I had asked for . The other team that responded was the Jets and they sent me a autographed pic of Mark Gastineau . I loved that guy . Those were the days . I don't think they even do that anymore .
i was at this place that has books and magazines where you can take it home for free but you have to return it, or theyll credit report your ass. they oilers used to have a paper. i started reading that ****. oh man, these memories came back. too bad we never had great playoff success, but it was a fun ride.
Earl was the man! He's on my top 5 of all-time running backs. No particular order: 1. Earl Campbell, Emmitt Smith, Barry Sanders, Walter Payton and Jim Brown. I don't care for the Texans, but when I do go, I always wear my Earl Campbell jersey. I always get compliments about it.
I thought for sure an All-Texas Super Bowl in '93..I believe the Oilers started 1-3 and then ran off 11 straight before Super Bowl Joe did his magic in the dome in the playoffs.
Yep. And Adams let it be known that Pardee was about to be fired, like he originally thought about doing after Buffalo. And we beat George Siefert, Steve Young, Ricky Watters and Jerry Rice at Candlestick, in the snow. I don't know anything about Joe and his magic, I think we just bit it for the third year in a row (losing to comebacks against the Broncos, Bills and Chiefs). Mix in Babygate, Jeff Alm and the Ryan-Gilbride UFC match, and you got yerself some Oiler football.
the 2002 draft party was on the floor of the Dome since Reliant had not opened yet. the Dome was a dump by then but it was still a nice last memory.
we won the first game, and then lost the next four. and then we pulled off 11 straight to end the season and go to 12-4. I think i was in third grade.
i thought that in 91...and 92...but by the time 93 came around, i was expecting the disappointment. the slight lead at halftime vs. the Chiefs?? you knew it wouldn't last. no way. i was numb to it all by then. i died with the broncos and bills comebacks that preceded it.
