Whenever you have something you oughta do, but have some force working against you (say, laziness) ... what do you do to achieve it? Do you think of anything? Quotes? Think of anybody? Listen to songs? I say this because I need some consistency in my life. I always seem to fall back to square one whenever I have set a goal - I eventually return to who I was/ back to what I was doing instead of what I should be doing. I know one thing, there are so many great people on this world. I am grateful to have known such people... and I've met some dedicated hard-working people who deserve to be where they're at. I want to accomplish this someday but I know I won't if I keep half-assing everything I won't get there. So any tips?
Here is a quote that i like: "To get Something you've never had, you must do something you've never done." this quote works for quite a few situations and motivates me to get my lazy ass up quite a few times...if that doesnt work then i just masturbate. that, my friend, never fails.
Two quotes: "Either do something worth writing or, write something worth reading" "Talent does what it can; Genius does what it must"
Every morning I tell my wife I love her. Every morning I find some way to verbally express my thankfulness for having a great job that I enjoy. Every morning my dog licks my face. RR
My motivation to cut the lawn....blisters from using a machete to get to my front door. My motivation to bathe...Wife won't touch me.
In my opinion, people who are lazy will always be lazy. If you are lazy but want to be succesful (career-wise), you need to be either: 1. Really good in Sales 2. Smarter than hard working folks 3. Appear smarter than hard working folks and have them believe you are smarter 4. Go into a career with a specialized niche where even if you are lazy, people won't care because you will always be in demand. 5. Win the lottery. If none of the above applies to you, it will be hard to be succesful without hard work.
