But it wasn't just preseason, I think he had some questionnable stats in the WC also. Stats don't tell the whole story, but when you see the same issue repeat...
No doubt, which is why I have been saying, get him in there, and if he plays well, let him earn a bit more time, if he starts screwing up...yank him. But at least let him get his feet wet and get comfortable...otherwise why have him on the team? Heck send him down to the NBDL if you are not going to play him, don't let him get rusty and not be ready when and IF you do decide you need him. DD

He's had plenty of court time, just not yet in the NBA. It's not like he's gonna get totally rusty just because he's not on the court now... they do have practice. I know you want to at least see him here (did you get season tiks again?), but if he's going to get in the rotation this year there is no substitute for practicing with his Rockets teammates. Just because he's on the team doesn't mean that he's ready for the rotation, and just because he's not in it yet doesn't mean he won't be in it later this year. I'll be excited when JVG's determined that he's ready to contribute.
It's obvious that winning on internet discussion, or just not to lose, is what NewYorker only cares about. He will backpadel, twist what you said or put a label on you in order not to concede a dabate. When he has no more excuse to avoid answering your question, he will just say 'ok you are on my ignore list now'. ROFL.

But during the season the practices are limited, and I think V-Span needs court time to get used to his teamates and where they want the ball. He doesn't have good court vision, he has great court vision, and a lot of his turnovers were from his teamates not looking for the pass, and those only go away with time on the court together. Heck, Yao had 8 turnovers last night, but still played through it. DD
Rookies are always over-scrutinized by JVG. They are chewing gum for him, gets chewed out then spat out.

Racist or not, NewYorker obviously enjoy bringing up the race issues everytime he has the chance. And based on his past posts, it is also obvious that he has something against the chinese posters in general. I think another poster has questioned before why he is so insecure about the chinese members. Because of inferiority complex? I think JVG is the right coach for the Rockets, he's just encountered some problems. Granted, problems are inevitable and some are more severe than others. If anything, Van Gundy's problem is his rigidness. I agree that the Rookies should be playing some minutes, as opposed to NO minutes. The Rockets need to get rid of Bonzi Wells any way they can before this entire season is tanked.
