I know this might sounds crazy,but i do believe,JVG IS the right coach for ROX.so whats wrong with ROX? its all about the players,trust me,ROX do not need two "SUPER STARS",at least,not those guys ROX already have ,YAO always tired in the second half ,and TMAC,it looks like he dont even care win or lose,he just "enjoy his" game,damn,i hate to say this,but ,he is no longer the score champion anymore,and he himself do not want to face it!!! so here is the conclusion,trade one of the "SUPERSTARS",and rebuild around the UNIQUE SUPER STAR,otherwise,things will just like what barkly said,ROX will go NOWHERE!!! for god sake,if the big two doesnt even play together,why the hell do ROX need them both? find YAO a CHUCK-HAYES-style PF,a backup C,a guard who can operate the ball,some 3s shooters who know DEFENCE,trade TMAC.or find TMAC some other guys he want,trade YAO,thats it. i like both YAO and TMAC,and I SWEAR i am no YAO hater nor TMAC hater,but the MM combo sux,i mean ,they dont even act like a combo...they just play their own game,one playing,the other one BENCHING!!! GOD plz prove me wrong,because i AM a ROX fan,damn the ugly game!!!
What a sensible post. So, what should we do to trade McGrady or Yao? Another superstar who according to your logic won't make this team click. Yeah, and trade the best center in the game for some roles players too, yep. Wow, trading a known all-star for some unknown commodity, not smart! Trust me, Yao and T-Mac get alone fine. Don't judge everything by one game. If we did that, Carlos Boozer and Zach Randoph should be in the All-Star game right now and the Jazz will win the NBA title. Oh yeah, and the Mavericks, Suns and Heat are headed towards the Oden sweepstakes. We rest our stars because we want them to be healthy in other portions of the game, not because we want hte seperate the two. You'll never get equal value when trading an all-star, especially one like T-Mac or Yao. So just calm down, look at the team more objectively, then post.
I know rest one of them is looking for a strong come back from our stars,but,it just doesnt work,and BTW,rest almost a whole quarter DO not make any sense to me. what YAO and TMAC have done show me this formula: 1 + 1 < 2 i mean,the big 2 need work together,not just fighting alone,TMAC needs to cut-in and pass the ball to YAO, YAO draw double ,triple team and make room for TMAC,thats what i call a big two combo,not just shoot for 3s and let YAO do the running practise,not face double team alone and go to a turnover. this is the easiest rule to win when you got BIG2 like YAO and MAC,but they just didnt show me they can do this,they just play alone,like the other BIG doesnt exist...
A similar disappointing loss. I do not want to speak amything more, just want to claim that the earlier JVG replaced, the better for the team!
Donnt be panic. Our team is good. In many games, there are 4-5 player getting 10+ points. I never saw this in last several seasons. I believe Jvg is good at offense also. Now the problm is, we do not have Hayes and therefore Yao (and others) often becomes very tired after the third quarter. If we play with a team with good bench player, we lose. (The only exception Miammi Heat is because their players are all very old averagelly) After we add some good bench players, we will come back to Top 4 of the west. Then everybody will be happy.
You're kidding right? They are pretty much the same kind of coach. If you're going to make a change, look for a person with a different style.

i don't see our record being better letting VSPAN and Novak on the court more - I see it as being worse. And while that may help those players become more adjusted to the NBA faster - it won't help us win 55 games this year. JVG job is to win games, not play rookies or fat out-of-shape players who just look horrible on the court and shoot under 30%. What are you guys asking for afterall? You're just being back seat coachers. Your team isn't 10-0 so you're whining. It's just irritating. Why can't you be happy you have a winning team out of the gates for the first time in what - 10 years? I mean, can anyone remember the last time this team was winning? Maybe that's it. Maybe those of us who remember how long it's been can appreciate a 6-4 start and say - hey, we'll take it. Its not that bad. In the NBA no one says you're playing badly if you start 6-4 unless you are the San Antonio Spurs.

Van Gundier - you've got to be kidding me. I expect more from you. How many NBA fans are their in the US? How many are there in China? I'm just making the assumption that they are at least equal in proportion which seems very reasonable. If anything there' probably a higher ratio in China vs. the US because of Yao.
My point is that it doesn't matter if, for instance, we have 1000 Chinese posters to every 500 American ones. I think New Yorker is wonder why such a high % of the 1000 Chinese posters seem to hate JVG as compared to the % of JVG haters among 500 American ones. Whether that's true or not, I dont' know... we can certainly run a poll. It really doesn't matter if we have 1000 Chinese posters or 200 if we are dealing with proportions.

i don't think that even 10% of Clutchfans are Chinese. but as of now about 1/2 of Clutchfans don't care for Van Gundy.

I think it's pretty clear by now that JVG is not the right coach and he's better as a TNT analyst than as a coach. I don't see how anyone can defend JVG after the first 10 games and past seasons. His act is old and stale and it's time for a change. If rockets don't win a championship this season, he should be gone.
I think it is the beginning for vg and his staff. They will be fired before x-mas. adelman is out there just waiting and available. he will be ther next coach of the rockets and it will be b4 next year. no inside info, just know
