Yes. What i meant was JVG should have something new to face this kind of serial collapses. It seems even he does not have tried. That is so disappointing

The thing that frustrates me the most is that we go away (for some reason) from whats working. Yao is having a great game and midway through the 4th he stops getting the ball. The offense, which had been going through him, switches to a bunch of long perimeter shots and standing around. There was a 3+ min stretch where he didnt even touch the ball once. That's on Van Gundy.

Padgett and Howard sucked big time tonight. Novak couldnt be any worse. Our all scrub back court sucked too. Vspan couldnt be any worse.
We are almost a real good ball club, almost.

I agree, we have 4 players that might be able to really help if they could get in the rotation.

    Hayes - injury...
Wells - Ego clash with the Balding midget
V-Span - Coach calls a 25 year old international star a rookie
Novak - Possibly best shooter in NBA...but JVG won't play him because he is still learning defense

Looks like JVG is really the problem here, not the players.

I am feeling really bad tonight for the rockets even though T-Mac & Yao combined the good numbers and it was not the first time ... but the consecutive several times

It's the time to change. JVG, can you hear us? why not have a try :p

    Sums it up completely.

I have been so patiently waiting for JVG to make an adjustment, but it seems that his adjustments only come when there is no other option left. I really hate it when he says "oh I think it was really good for him (the player) but not necessarily for us".

JVG already made the biggest adjustment by telling everyone including tmac that yao will be the 1st option in half court. time will tell if jvg will make better moves as the season goes on.

    i still believe :D

Vspan and Novak wouldn't have done any better against Detroit, not in the 4th qtr anyway. Detroits D was suffocating and putting in 2 rookies would have been feeding them to the lions. When you read the Chron recap tomorrow, thats what they'll key on in the story, the tough D by the Pistons as the reason the Rox lost.

See, I totally disagree with this statement.

Detroit took away Yao and Tmac, and the rest of the Rockets could not capitalize....

I think V-Span and Novak could have.

Head and Paghett were ****ing useless out there in the 4th quarter.

If you don't play them, they will FOREVER be rookies.

Screw Chron, they've become propaganda tool of rox.

WHAT IS THE MOST EFFECTIVE WAY TO LET THE CLUB KNOW WE WANT TO SEE BONZI, NOVAK, AND VSPAN PLAY?

At this point I think it's time we let them know they should be shopping around for a new coach. Vspan, Bonzi and Novak can't help bad coaching.
