Very cool. I have not read, "Michael Jordan" yet. I wonder why?

Okay, knock it out of the park now.

I gotta single out another Sonic, Ricky Pierce....he went to Rice and seemed to have a vendetta against the Rockets

That's hillarious...can we include Juwan in this category?

The Seattle duo heads the list, of course, but Duncan is up there. (I agree with some of the Rox who are Rox worst enemies...boo effin hoo.)

I'll stay in the present: Jason Terry. Seems like he can't miss against us. I don't have stats in front of me, but you can't name another player, past or present, who seems to shoot so much better than normal when he plays us. I get sick watching him play passive and clank open jumpers against other teams.

Yeah, that Seattle starting five in the mid nineties played like hall of famers every time we played them. Payton, Gill, Detlef, Kemp, Perkins, and even Nate McMillian. All of them.

Something about the Sonics. Ever since they beat us 136-80 at the Summit back in the 80's.

Jason Kidd has had a few career nights against us as well.

Did Larry Bird ever miss a shot against us?

Payton and the Sonics. I swear it'd be a 3pt shootout and we'd always lose.

The early to mid-ninties Sonic teams were Rocket killers. But at least we can take heart that they seemed to beat everyone else those years, too. Those Sonic teams were awfully good. It's really kinda surprising they didn't win it all in 1993 or 1994.

Schrempf was brutal. Hornacek was a killer as well. Stockton always turned into a lights-out shooter when he played us. But the guy I hated most was Ainge. Not only would he hit the big shots, but he seemed to take 9 million free throws every game. And he'd whine, b**** and moan about every foul called on or near him. He was (and I assume, still is) a jerk of the highest order, and deserved the towel in the face from Big Shot Rob.

Going further back, Magic always seemed to have our number, and Michael Cooper seemed to transform from a defensive player to an offensive nightmare when the Fakers played us in the 80s.

I hate Ainge as well ever since his Boston days...I remember when the Rockets went into America West Arena down 0-2 and came back and tied the series 2-2, that b*stard Ainge threw the ball at Elie's face from almost point blank range towards the end of game 2...He admitted he did it on purpose and only received a fine or something...I still don't know how the Junkyard Dog held back...I thought he was going to rip Ainge into 2 pieces.

Darrel Griffiths - Utah Jazz 85' series

and how about "The Whopper" Billy Paultz going off on us after the Dream slapped his face, that sucked.

Calvin Natt, Fat Lever, Alex Engish, Bill Hanzlik - man i hated those old Nugget teams.

those oft-mentioned old seattle teams bring back bad memories, hersey hawkins used to kill us

    Payton's cocky smirk.

Hornacek throwing up prayers and getting them answered at the end of every quarter.

Derek Harper's molestation of Kenny Smith.

The Nuggets of the late 80's (English, Lever, Adams) dropping huge numbers.

And every player that recorded their career-highs against us in the Stevie Franchise era.
