adeelsiddiqui, this is an internet BBS. If you want to make a date, you can use other sites and other means, in my opinion. Personally, I doubt that Svpernaut is that cute.

I'm a sexy b****! With that said I guess us Christians should get together and riot because of crap like this....
    http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-3406167981875572831

Or, we could just come to the realization that some things our out of our control... and for our "peaceful religion" to be taken seriously we must practice what we preach. Just look in the previous page of this thread, I mention a thing or two that I disagree with or "bash" Islam about and some one wants to "meet me face to face" and another calls me a bigot. Look, go right ahead and practice the religion you want to, but don't call me a bigot for saying your "brothers in Islam" are complete and utter morons for rioting over FREAKING CARTOONS!

As said before I will "understand" Islam only when the "civilized followers" openly call out the trouble makers, which the don't do. Just last week the head of the Houston chapter of something Islam (don't remember the exact name of his group) was on Talk Radio 950 complaining about the "hate crime" of a sign being left NEAR not AT a mosque. Now, my church has been vandalized, spray painted, broken into and all of the above so please don't tell me this is only something that happens at mosques. The funny or should I say frustrating thing about this guy was the fact that he REFUSED to condemn the rioting over cartoons, and he tip-toed around the issue and kept trying to change the subject to the sign left near a mosque here in town.

I want to understand Islam, but I won't ever be able to until I see muslim after muslim speaking out OPENLY against their crazy brothers... can you guys fill me in on why you choose not to chastize your own even though you know they are in the wrong? You won't hear too many christians silent when morons like Pat Robertson speak up, so why do you stay silent? Sure, some christians do side with Pat on his wacky issue but at least they say where they stand so we can lump them into the "wack job" category right along with him.

Most of the time I don't give religion much thought, personally. At times like these, I'm glad I'm agnostic.

The vast majority of the world's violence lately is Muslim? Was it a Muslim nation that took its army and invaded Iraq?

The outcry against the violent acts of Muslims by other Muslims has been reported. If you choose to ignore it, then please don't claim it never happened.

It is bigotry if you take the acts of a minority of a population(in this case Muslim) and attribute the negative aspects of that minority to the population group as a whole.

Because someone said something bad about your religion, does that excuse you making bigoted remarks about another whole religion? I am a Christian and I can't stand Pat Robertson or Jerry Falwell, or those folks. I would hate for someone to label all Christians as hateful based on the actions of just those guys. Yet in a sense you are doing the same thing.

Were you the person who claimed Jesus meant for people to stand up and fight if their religion was being attacked?

you guys need to lay off Svpernaut,
if someone is burning KFC, then that would ruin someone's day.
Say you're Valentines date in Pakistan wanted some a bucket of extra crispy and some lunatics burnt it down, wouldn't you be mad?
then you go back to your date and she says she's aint given you any cause you couldn't deliver on the chicken.
you tell her some dudes burnt it down because the Danes insulted the prophet. she wont believe you.

personally, i want to decapitate whatever groups messes with Popeyes or timmy chans.

let him voice his opinion. Just because all of you like the regular recipe and he likes honey bar-b-q, doesnt make you right.

A war being fought to overthrow a terrorist regime is far from "uneeded violence." Last I checked we were fighting people who blew themselves up with C4 around innocent men, women and children to "make a statement." Also, do not skew my words about defending my religion... a cartoonist "drawing" and mocking my savior is far from attacking my religion or me.

Here is another interesting thought... Of the 1+ billion muslims in the world what percentage would CELEBRATE if either the USA or Israel were wiped completely off the map? I'm hardly speaking for a small minority, a HUGE number of muslims WORLDWIDE have gone on violent rampages lately and would love to see the entire western world sink into the ocean... so don't say it is a small minority, this isn't one person on TV camera or one protest this is idiotic violence all over the freaking place.

I know there are peaceful muslims in the world and I know that it can be a peaceful religion... but I also believe that the peaceful muslims seem like the minority simply because they don't speak up as one booming voice . If muslims want the west to understand where they are coming from then they need to speak up, simple as that.

This also makes no sense to me... Burn and pillage AMERICAN corporations for cartoons that were printed in Europe? So, these guys aren't the sharpest tools in the shed I see.

No, I was just wondering if you even know a muslim or any muslims in real life. Maybe you meeting a muslim would change your "generalizations" of the whole religion.

But whatever, if you want to tape up your house and go sit in your bunker, be my guest. I doubt any one of us is coming after you any time soon.

give it up....I've tried this before - it doesn't work. They would rather call you a bigot then condemn violence or question their own culture.

All this is related to PORK.
They wanted to go after PIZZA HUT cause the pepperoni pizza is the devil's food.

They need to seperate the world into two people.
the people who eat pork and the people who don't eat pork.

you think these dudes who are angry at the cartoons would be angry after some pork chops or bacon? no. what about bar-b-q pulled pork? that would solve the problem with isreal and palestine. also,

pork tastes good. is this more offensive than a cartoon? this image will offend the jews, muslims, and vegetarians.

I have never generalized all muslims by my posts, feel free to reread some of my comments.

I do know muslims and they know my stance and respect it... and have told me that speaking bad about their fellow muslims is a no-no and an unspoken rule, like talking to a pitcher in the 7th inning of a no-hitter. You have YET to respond to the points I made in my past few posts regarding how Muslims find it taboo to condemn the actions of other muslims, you've COMPLETELY IGNORED the points that I made... thus helping prove my point and even further my frustration with the "civilized muslims." I can hear on these forums all day long that "we do condemn their actions and we are trying and blah blah blah" but I sure as crap don't see it in the news... I sure as crap don't see muslims marching in the streets here begging for peace like thousands of whites did in the 60's marching for black rights. Last I checked this was a free country with the freedom of assembly but I have yet to see ONE just ONE large gathering of American muslims uniting for peace for the WORLD to see. ALL we see with the muslim faith is violence on top of violence on top of violence... most Americans know there are millions of peaceful muslims but we never hear from them.

I have YET to hear a group of muslims OPENLY condemn these idiots rioting over cartoons. I have YET to hear a " (refer to my comment about the Muslim leader on Talk Radio 950 "tip-toeing" around the issue) muslim leader on CNN, NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX or any other major network pointing out the flaws of these rioters... sure I've heard them condemn the 9/11 attacks and Bin Laden but they ignore pretty much and sometimes even sypothize with all other forms of terrorism by their people (see suicide bombers in Iraq/Israel)... I don't hate muslims, or Islam or anyone for that matter because it isn't my place. I do however have a right as an American, a human living in this madness to question a group who have a massively large sect of wackjobs causing havoc all over the world and endangering my fellow Americans.

I would also like to hear a response by some muslims about this comment:

I know myself and many, many others believe that a huge number of muslims in the world would rejoice at our demise... and the reason we believe that is the fact that what you call the minority (radicals) are speaking for all of you because the majority (peaceful/civilized) don't speak out openly load and clear on the ignorant violence by the radicals... and once again I will finish a post off with this line: I will forever be confused by Islam until... millions of civilized muslims stand together against their radical brothers...

Pizza Hut. can you imagine the poor pizza hut delivery guys in pakistan running around in a rickshaw with the pizza hut logo?
i feel for them. they just want to deliver meat lovers pizza and the additional pizzas for $5 or whatever currency they use in Pakistan, PESOs?
