CD & Les would go bananas if Yao ever rides the bike on Houston streets.

    ;)

wow... when john and lance first reported that yao got a "bike" from his team mates for new year... i thought they had bought him a motorcycle...

the only thing i could think of was "oh-no", did they forgot about jay williams... then i thought it must be bob sura's "brilliant" idea..:D

    Never been to Houston myself.

But I knew from my research that Yao Ming lives in Windsor Park Lake Estate near Katy....and I have no idea how far that is from Toyota Centre.

Might need help from the Houstonians on this question.

Not quite Katy. He lives off of Barker Cypress near I-10.

Still along way away. Anyone who tried to ride their bike from that area to downtown would probaby be run over at least 2 or 3 times.

    at least

LOL.... don't underestimate the bicyling skills of Yao Ming. He used to bike to work/training in Shanghai...with as dense traffic as Houston, I think.

Shanghai is much more of a 'bike friendly' city I would think, judging by some pictures I've seen

I would like to see Yao take his bike on the freeway:D

we don't one of our star players to get injured

LOL! I could just see Yao rolling down the interstate on a bike! Haha. Did you watch those preseason games from China where Bill Walton was riding his bike around the streets of Shanghai? I don't know what was crazier, seeing a big guy like Walton on a bike, or the amount of bikes on the street in Shanghai!

Naaaaah .... Hong Kong is bad enough.

I've been to Kuala Lumpur a couple of times. It's nowhere as worst in traffic when compared to cities like Bangkok or Shanghai or Beijing during the peak hours ......

Now I know why the attendance is so terrible in TC, since lots of rox fans do not know about economic at all. no wonder most of us cannot afford to presnce on arena.

U know something called market target(high end , low end product) ? Ford ,GM can make lamborgihini-alike sportscar if they want. But they wont. because they focuse their market on other customer. even their begin to make the sportscar, customer are unwilling to purchase their new product for they get used to buy from the manufacture like ferrari , lamborgihni etc.

My point is if yao ming got these watchs designed for his teammate only. it is really hard to tell how much they cost. but u can be sure that they are much more expensive than the rolex u buy from store.
