I think a large part of that is our pitching has been elite until recently. Not sure why we are talking about this though…he’s not coming here for a multitude of different reasons.

We're talking about it because @snowconeman22 insists on it and I'm just playing along.

Ok I take it back . Speaking it out of existence. I do want a dynamic player like Trout , but for 37 mil there can't be any park factor.

    3-4 vs LAA this year.

Astros need a sweep unless Angels have our number -- OR, we're just a 500 team... namely, sub-500.

    A sweep makes hay.

    I saw the lineup .

    Lamonte wade RF !

    Yikes

I think he's got a few more games to get going otherwise he should be gone. Guy looks bad in the outfield. I would play walker , vasquez and even dezenzo ahead of him at 1st.

    Guy is a turnstile

Walker moving further down the ladder. Wouldn't be surprised if he's been injured since May.

Wade moves Altuve further down too. Espada looking for the BB with Wade's awesome OBP (.328). Altuve has deteriorated so far in that area since April.

From opting out of a AAA contract to batting clean up in the majors, heck of a couple of months for Wade Jr.

Also, re: Altuve, he's batting .224 with 47 hits, 9 HR, 22 RBI, and 29 rubs scores in 54 games (1/3 of a season!) since April 30th.

Espada going with the dusty special (righty/lefty) batting order and Wade batting 4th lol

Walker is the best 1B on the roster by far. There's nobody who can play CF even close to respectability. LF is a cornucopia of crap.

The walks are great but a league average OBP is not exactly awesome.

The team has only three good hitters currently, which explains Wade hitting cleanup. Altuve and Walker have sadly regressed, which isn't surprising given their age. The fact that opposing teams don't walk Yordan every time there's someone on base surprises me.

Angels announcer Mark Gubicza's face is worn like an old catcher's mitt.

    1st inning:

    "Even his popups are loud"

Angels booth loving all about Yordan, calling him the MVP
