    Arguably our biggest problem was player development and we just got one of the best player development coaches of all time.

    I agree, except I saw where Steve Kerr said Engelland helped him, and Kerr was a lifetime 45% 3-point shooter.

    I don't expect him to get Amen shooting well but he should be able to work wonders with a guy like Reed I would think who possess some resemblance of shot making.

    That would be nice but it would be even better if the guys who are supposed to be shooters turn into lights out shooters like Reed and Jabari. Not that their shooting now is bad, its about above average for both of them, but it really shouldn't be that with them, they should be elite shooters, thats what they were drafted for.

    Outside of my children doing well in school and with their lives, the Rockets hiring Chip Engelland is the best news of the year, for me.

    Stone does it again. Fantastic hire. Enggeland is a renowned shooting coach and one of the biggest reasons Spurs and OKC had amazing player development. He knows about setting a true team culture since he been with SAS during the TD era.

    Kudos to Udoka too for being on board with this hire. His buddy BS just isnt cutting it.
