It definitely would…but this feels like an annual “what if” conversation within Sengun

I'm sure Sengun will continue to regress. Not sure what those Rocket trainers are doing.

that Sengun workout vid was so unimpressive lol

if that’s what he does during the summer, I see why he’s made very little improvement in his overall game going on 3 years now

They need jousting pads or bamboo sticks to hit him on his sides while shooting, one also needs to be holding his jersey and shorts to simulate game action.

Agreed, I’m much more bullish on Jabari than most. His offensive development suffered significantly with the team over investing in Jalen/KPJ. I still think his ceiling in around LaMarcus Aldridge level.

Every young player seemingly adds ‘10 pounds of muscle’ in 2 months. In actuality a lot of that is weight gained from not constantly playing competitive basketball.

I'd rather Sengun just learn to consistently make bunnies instead. He was bricking wide opens consistently throughout the season. Also his free throw shooting is somehow regressing season to season...?

Best thing about drafting foreign-born players is you can always visit other lands and cultures. If you're into that. How bad could it be to have an expenses-paid vacation like this. I'm assuming expenses are paid, anyway. Does Fertitta pay expenses? Y'all make it sound like he'd stuff some frozen Landry's lunchbox rations into their bags and wish them well, so I don't know.

I find that one a little crazy if I'm honest. Who is the white dude, and why is one of the greatest shooters of all time being told what to do by him? I really dislike these influencer drill type "coaches," they never seem to improve anybody's skills.

LOL, those mfs dont follow instructions well. Hes showing them to step with their left leg to protect the ball and only 1 of them did it right the first time.

He had to create for himself dramatically more without Fred. He also had to protect the rim a lot more often this season, prior to the Durant trade we always had 4 solid defenders around him.

I think he'll bounce back and learn from it but we absolutely need him to develop a 3pt shot so that he's not a negative when Amen has the ball. Changes a lot of things for us.

True but as long as they're sending trainers to work on it every summer I think it's a good investment that will eventually pay off even if not as quickly as we'd hoped.

Don’t lose anything for trying. It makes sense to release the videos, if for no other reason than to keep fans engaged. Even a causal knows about Sengun’s shooting woes.

If only this was a video of him trying to pass out of a double team.

If Sengun is serious about improving his game, he should be training in Houston.
