This guy looks like he could stick to the final roster by mid-season. He's playing like a man possessed out there.

Seems like a good candidate for a 2-way contract.

didnt he sign a two way? He is a 2 way undrafted. He also the only guy who showed up against real NBA competition, locked up no 3 pick Cam Boozer and scored 24 pts along with 50% 3 pt.

He gonna beast out in Gleague IMO. The dude is an athletic beast with a dawg in him and also seems to have fixed his outside shot. The only prob is he seems to have low bball IQ like Tari cuz he was getting like 7 fouls a game in 22 mins. I dont think he is ready this year but maybe he can get a real roster spot next year.

He looks more like an NBA player than Thornton.

Summer time and the viewing is easy
Reality very often leaves us queasy.

I, for one, believe SL is fun but I believe little in front of me. Some proves out, but which???

Copeland seems to have better skills than Crawford.
Quadir is a 2 guard, with some passing ability. A good G- League performance could lead to NBA success down the road. Thornton is a better set up player than Reed and Amen, but he has a longer way to go than Copeland.

Quadir and Thornton are quite intelligent and hard working. G- League success and practicing along with the Rockets is very important for them.

Im genuinely curious why people believe this. Thornton averaged 3.9 ast as a 23 year old senior. He'll be 24 before the start of the NBA season. Reed averaged 4.5 ast as a 19 year old Freshman...

Both Amen and Reed averaged more ast per game than Thornton in their rookie summer league games.

It’s not the number of assists that always matters. Thornton clearly knows when and how to pass the ball. I’m not saying that he’s starting PG material. Having better 3 point shooters and finishers at the rim could increase Bruce’s assist numbers, but he has to improve his defense and his jump shot, before getting some minutes with the Rockets.

Not really, they both look like AAAA players, guys good in college, and Gleague but marginal NBA players.

    Sort of like Nix

NC State doesn't run a defense focused program.

Right now, but Nix is a few years further down the road. I think Thornton in particular has an excellent chance of being a solid backup point, and Copeland will hinge on his 3 point shot

I love the way Copeland moves. Has NBA fluidity, looks like a player that can find a place against NBA level defense.

I don't like the way Thornton moves. Too stiff, too short, not agile enough I don't think for elite NBA level PG play. I think his body and athelticism make his ceiling a end of the bench emergency type role.

Maybe Copeland is one of those rare late bloomers, but dude was a college senior and was good but not great this past season. He went undrafted for a reason guys

Well, luckily, he's getting paid that way.
