Going after the player for his emotions, attitude and play on the court are one thing but taking it to a personal level is just completely uncalled for and not right.
Nah - going on social media and responding to Tari Eason or his mom and calling him IQ challenged or making comments about his dad are out of line. People are going to do it - because some people are assholes, but it isn't right. I said that Tari Eason and especially his mom - would be better served to just take a step back. Some people can handle public hate and scrutiny and it doesn't impact them, it is pretty obvious it is bothering Tari and is a distraction. I don't expect all fans to stop - there are too many people and some of them are assholes. I hope that the focus will be elsewhere when the season starts - and if it doesn't, then I will avoid it personally.
I agree, ad hominem attacks are out of line. We don’t know Tari, the human. Insulting him as a person or attacking his family is low class and out of line.
Yeah, given the way they've been responding, it's clear that Tari and his mom should both just get off of social media, or at least stay away from anything regarding the NBA. In their positions I wouldn't even touch that stuff with a ten foot pole. Really unhealthy to bombard yourself with the opinions of thousands of anonymous idiots, and they don't seem to be handling it well.
Im sure fans attack a lot of players. Few players take to Twitter to clap back. Even fewer have their parents do it for them. Fans are not going to stop being fans. Its what they do. Tari needs to stay off his socials and his mom as well. Like any other famous professional should. He's lucky Durant is here or he'd be the least liked Rocket.
Look man in the internet if you clap at someone be prepared to get clapped at back. Its funny these people can keep attacking athletes and when they respond they are the clown and immature people. Like what? USA is supposed to be the land of free speech but athletes just supposed to ignore all the internet trolls talking smack to them? I remember when MJ "took it personally" people applauded but if Tari or KD clap back at their trolls and keyboard warriors suddenly its a circus.
Its the prerogative of athletes to clap back or not. Theres no rule that says you cant shut down trolls attacking you online. If you keep ******** on a guy you arent a fan of him lets be real. Looking at KD and Jalen Green there is zero correlation between clapping back and on court play. I remember when Jalen deactivated his twitter during the playoffs 2 yrs ago after netizens started attacking his GF, how'd that work out for him?
this is in no way, shape, nor form about his right to free speech. he's 4" away from never having been offered a basketball scholarship, much less generational wealth, and his crocodile tears about how hard it's been to people that frankly know *exactly* how hard it's been is poop directly from a butt. calling a crybaby a crybaby is proportional af. I'm not here for "spades are really diamonds" type of takes.
Yep, you are right, and nothing anyone can do about it - practical matter is - that is the way anonymous social media works. If we had a working government protecting society - might be different but we don't. DD
Anybody approaching either on social media and taking it to his dead father are the absolute worst kind of scumbag. Nobody should EVER target ****ing dead parents, just evil.
but he was offered a basketball scholarship, and now he is in the top 300 people in the entire world at his job. I would assume being in the top 0.1% of a globally popular sport is hard no matter what you say. The ones who know exactly how hard its been are his fellow NBAers and nobody has ever said Tari had an easy time. The ones saying he had it easy are netizens who dont know what it takes since most of them arent even athletes, nevermind professional athletes. Its fine to call him a crybaby if thats what you think but my point is you guys are acting because he responded to people who attacked him now he is immature, unprofessional and its a circus etc Do you understand how thats a catch 22 for trolls? They get to troll someone and if he fights back well now he is a crybaby. People can say what they want on twitter, its different from what they do in real life. Just cuz Tari is crashing out over trolls doesnt suddenly means he doesnt take basketball seriously.
But he is 6'8"? Congrats. He qualifies for something on grace that the rest of us weren't. Talk to someone the **** else about the grind. Talk someone the **** else about how basketball players don't make enough money. I wish the sincerest of reality checks on folks who think Tari Eason's contract isn't worth his time and effort.
LMAO I can't believe he's responding to **** like this with produced videos. Did no one ever tell him haters gonna hate? Just keep working Tari. Put in the work, and you'll be fine.
