Sting way undervalued compared to Pat, Sauce and Gonzo.
If we could get two 1s plus, in the 27 draft for CJ I would do that in a heartbeat

And you would be a dumbass.
    dav
You have a Super Bowl ready team with no QB (and No...Davis Mills is not it). This is not the early 2000s where a Brad Johnson, Trent Dilfer can win a Super Bowl.

We don’t have a QB as is. If some “dumbass” is willing to pay that much you take it.
That way you can pay the defensive players coming up the line.
The 27 class is deep, very deep. There’s 10 QBs that could go early that you can get equal production out of and not have to pay.

I guess you’re calling the scouts and executives that have CJ ranked 20th in the league, and in their words “glad it’s not their problem” on whether to pay him or not.

To add to that. Mills can give you what CJ did last season.
You overrate CJ so much, but hate on Mills when Mills has never had the weapons that CJ has

    I hope so.
But up til now, he hasn’t done anything to warrant your support.

Bottom line is, CJ needs to step up this year. Or he's gone and we draft another one in '27. All these changes that he's been through this off season mean nothing unless he shows up on the field. He hasn't been good enough the past two years, and he's ranked low for a reason. He needs to untuck his tail and play like the"killer" that he calls himself. He played like a little b**** against NE and we all know it. I really hope he turns the corner.

    Straight facts.
All he has to do is go out and perform and he will have the whole city behind him.

Numbers are only real if they support your argument. Everything else is LIES! Tell us more about how physically gifted Levis is and why that matters.

    Typical.

I’ll try again to separate arguments, let’s see if you can… Herbert can be a better QB than Stroud and STILL be ridiculously overrated.

    * I’ll edit and own that I didn’t see your final sentence where you admitted he was overrated. Apologies. (See how people can do that). Like when you wouldn’t even let me crap on Herbert without making it about “my boy not being ranked high” even though I started the post trying to say this was JUST my thoughts on Herbert???

That’s why it’s important to read without emotion.

Herbert is overrated. But he’s also had the best cumulative numbers to start a career possibly of all time. But the real driver of his continued support is there aren’t many QBs alive with his arm talent and athleticism.
That’s why CJ isn’t on his level

I am at the point to where this is make or break for CJ, go and ball out and I am behind you my man, flame out in the playoffs again and I will hope we can still get a first rounder for you. I have faith but I am also realistic, he is a great kid and I need him to do well to get to the promise land but if I am Cal, I am not giving you $60 million if you can't do better.....................and NO, Mills is not the answer, hell of a backup though. IMO this Defense will be better than last year and there is no way we can waste this opportunity because you never know what next year brings. This IS the year BABY............Super Bowl or BUST

This has always been the make-or-break year for him. If he showed enough to "earn" the highest paid QB in league he would already have that title, and there would be a SB trophy in Houston....

But he absolutely muffed it last playoff. I have lots of excuses for him, but he still needs to get it done. Others simply see a "broken QB" and cannot be fixed. He has exactly this year to show he is indeed the talented pocket passer he is supposed to be. No-one will confuse him with a running QB. He is not that. But accuracy was his forte. Now get her done.

This year with a potentially even better defense and much improved Oline and RB. (let's not forget the 1RB was out for year and rookie and retread weren't going to scare any defense), I agree this is SB or bust.
