low basketball IQ, going 1 on 3, missed layups/putbacks, throwing it directly to the other team, dumb wtf fouls Stone said “Untouchable” & “Give me 5 more years of that sht!” and his crazy mother Spoiler
Agreed. I don't understand why any public figure would open themselves up to the crazy people who do social media.
No his father was in and out of his life, he was primarily raised by his mother.... just like KD, and it shows.
Yall know he really wanted to say on god yall motherfukkers broke as hell and I’m rich. Don’t matter what I do at my job. Lol.
I am sure it is somewhere in the back of his head --- and while Tari is overly defensive, I am sure his injuries have also played a part in all of this. At this point he has made enough money to never have to work again. He should try and relax and play basketball. I have no idea if he goes to therapy, but it is probably a good idea.... the guy was never a major recruit, and he made it to the NBA playing in a way that critics claimed wasn't possible. He struggles to understand defensive assignments, but makes up for it with effort. He doesn't have perfect fundamentals - but makes up with it because of heart and desire and length.......... he needs to be comfortable with what he is, which is a good NBA player --- and tune out what fans have to say.
Just like Chandler Parsons has so many times. The difference being that Parsons tends to say it to individual people actively talking **** rather than a random crash out on everyone so it comes across different.
Good topic, I tend to take a view of fixable improve-able issues with time and experience vs set problems with no realistic path for improvement. I haven’t seen anything in Tari’s behavior that couldn’t also be explained by belief in himself and wanting to win. My assumption from what I’ve seen and how it’s all played out is that Tari has been lighting Jabari up in practice this entire time. We argue about who’s better but in his mind he has more information and the money, role, minutes, fan sentiment just feels a bit out of wack. The scoreboard likes him, when he makes a mistake he’s making a mistake while moving 18 miles an hour. Something fans don’t adjust their hate for and something that needs to be done to win games. Amen is the only other guy on the roster that can do it. I think Tari is doing what he should be doing and his development and play at age 24 is very encouraging when compared to the historical growth those comparable 3 and D types have up into their late 20s. The stuff being said about him is the same thing the internet was saying about Dillon Brooks when Memphis ran him out of town. Weirdo, shot chucker, lit up by LeBron, low IQ, should be playing in China, not worth a big contract.. Dillon was 27. Tari can hoop, we just have the memories and attention span of goldfish.
Jimmy says hi. He told me he should have been top on your list & wants….errr…..NEEDS to be team captain.
It you spend too much time and effort dwelling on what the fans say, you end up becoming one. That's true for players and coaches.
In the meantime, Dickerson is on Instagram calling out Colin Cowherd and Nick Wright. I'm pretty sure it has to do with Cowherd comparing him to buying and selling a boat being the happiest days. Nick Wright is guilty of saying that KD is toxic everywhere he goes. KD needs to spend every day working on his passing. I was shocked by his lazy passes.
Ime: Tari...DON'T help...DON'T leave the corner..no matter what..STAY HOME" Tari: UHH DURRRRRRRDJFKJEFDGffdzjghk
Last year was a contract year for Tari and he didn't show out, so I wasn't as excited as everyone else when he signed his extension. Apparently, neither was he. Hopefully he can play like he did in the first half of last season, but it wouldn't surprise me if eventually we had to dump his contract down the line for more steady contributors.
I still like Tari. I'm not on Rockets Twitter/IG. By not seeing their other sides, it's usually for the best. But I still read CFans, so info eventually got to me. On the court, IMHO, there's more positive than negative. Tari had interest from other teams, so I'm still happy he's here and the deal was able to get done without too much damage to the cap room. It's summer. Tari and Momster should enjoy their time off (less social media). Based on reactions here, doesn't seem like Twitter PR is helping them.
