    Thanks for the memories Lance. Sucks that his time ended the way it did, but he was one of the faces of the championship era and was a true servant for the club. I’ll always appreciate his contributions. With that said, the Astros got better today and I’ll leave it at that.

    Not necessarily today. Could be this opportunity finally(!) presented itself and the Astros couldn't pass it up. But yeah, seems like this will precipitate another move that adds salary.

    He knows what he brings to the table now. He did this for the betterment of the Houston Astros and that was just yet, another sacrifice he made for this franchise.

    He's been done for a couple of seasons now, this is the pragmatic choice they should have tried to make last offseason.

    All in all he was an excellent postseason pitcher, loved being here and assisted us in winning 2 WS. Unlike others I have nothing but love for LMJ, he tried to do everything he could to help the team, even pitched through a major injury. His body simply would not hold up, it's not like he wanted to be sidelined all this time.

    Curious to see if he ever actually suits up for Milwaukee, or if he simply waived his NTC for no personal gain.
