[War] Trump surrenders to Iran in a humiliating defeat

There are so many video clips of Rubio, Vance, and Hegseth condemning the same type thing Trump wants to do. This country has been all about freedom of the seas, and freedom from people being charged like this. Imagine him thinking he should take 20% on all cargo going through. That would raise the prices for all consumers by probably 50% wouldn't it?

Trump's acting like a mob boss now. Who the hell out him in charge of the strait after he f*cked it all up? He knows he made a very very costly mistake. He knows they have been blowing through weapons and ammo too. Now he wants to take from everyone around the world to get back some of his money. That, and pocket more for himself I'm sure. Would he get his son in law or other family members to handle that? He's always looking for the next grift isn't he?

I'm honestly surprised the whole world hasn't told him to F*ck off by now.

Exactly my thought. Why not just pay Iran? They're much cheaper than Trump. Unless Trump is willing to fire on an oil tanker from a friendly nation because they paid Iran a toll. That would be something to see!

As unpopular as the war is, and when it has the price increases along with it, I don't think the administration wants escalate. Iran knows that as well

 

At this point Trump is just flailing. Every day he’s throwing crap on the wall and hopes something sticks. What a monumental cluster this guy has created and Americans pay the price.

 

Trump's greatest successes with his base seem to come from his "troll the libs" instincts.

I kind of wonder if he's just kind of instinctively trying the same with the Iran in an "underpants->????->profit" scenario where he imagines if he just trolls the mullahs hard enough it will all somehow work itself out in his favor, like when he does it with his domestic political opponents.

Mostly I wonder this because I can't imagine any other scenarios where he could possibly see this strategy leading to success. It's my last, desperate attempt to make his thought processes make sense.

 

There is a very strong tendancy in narcissists towards "narcissistic martyrdom" when things aren't going well. It's just another in the narcissist's tool bag to manipulate people and gain sympathy.

Trying to play the martyr is a classic and common ploy among narcissists. Maybe I'm wrong, but I've been thinking that that's what his talk of assassination is. I don't believe its in response to any actual real imminent threat.

 

Trump voters will always be known as the imbeciles of society. Your guy spent $100B on an illegal war that accomplished nothing. Destabilized the region further, increased prices across the board in America, put American soldiers lives in danger and killed innocents. And Iran is more likely to get nukes after this, not less.
