Do you think if CJ had all of his weapons could he do what the guys I listed did?

That’s his go to retort to anyone that doesn’t have the same opinion as him, or isn’t completely blinded by CJ homerism.

Maybe? I do think having his top 2 pass catchers would make a difference, do you think burrow is the same if you take away chase and higgins? Or darnold without JSN and cupp? I certainty think it's almost 100% that seattle loses to the rams and cinci loses to KC in that situation. I just always think it's weird that people think the other 10 players on the field don't matter.

Do you not see Nico like the guys you listed?

BTW, after about week 8-9 Higgins was very good

Ya Nico is awesome, that's the point. CJ didn't have Nico or Dalton, his 2 best pass catchers. That's my point, both burrow and darnold lose if they don't have their top 2 guys in the games you mentioned. He also didn't have his RT, who while not great forced a position switch which made 2 spots worse. I'd say marks got hurt also but he was so bad that probably didn't even matter.

But CJ did have the guys you listed for the Steelers/Chargers/Raiders games and he was very bad in those games. Burrow went 1/2 a season without Chase and Higgins at different times and was still effective.

Sure, he's also only made the playoffs in 2/6 seasons. My point was that guys can't do it alone. Yes, Brady kinda did it in 2006 and Manning at the end of his colts run was kinda doing it, but i think everyone can agree CJ isn't on that level. If you took away everyone from burrow and put him in the playoffs would he look better then CJ? Maybe, i could get behind that. Would he actually do anything? Of course not.
