    eh tomorrow is the series deciding game and it's an early game. Their isn't a drastic time difference. It's a big one if we want to catch the Rangers. I would rather have him rested and available. Just seems very unnecessary and unwise.

    Warming up in the pen today - or even playing today - doesn't affect his availability tomorrow. Again, he hasn't pitched in 4 days and will get a bunch of days off after tomorrow. People pitch in Sunday day games after Saturday evening games all the time.

    edit: the reason you wouldn't do it normally is that you might need him in the next 2 games and don't want to burn him for no reason. But that's not an issue with the ASB.

    93 mph for 3 innings seems possible.

    Pearson and Santa both 3 days rest... damn, Javier 3 days rest too. Fifty pitches could be the limit which isn’t an issue with Pearson and Santa having multi skills.

    Tune in tomorrow for Javier's push for <10 ERA.

    Well as bad as they appeared to have started out the Astros are number one in ABS challenge (overall) ranking. Altuve two in the league in batting challenges. That’s gotta piss off the trash can fans…..

    He used to hit most of those balls and you have to make the decision to swing when the ball is halfway to the plate, not at the plate.
