I appreciate offense . Let's hope every ball the rangers hit in play goes stays on the infield or goes to dead center . Lmao .

IF we win this game, Vazquez would have won 8 out of the last 9 games he's played in. We are currently 30-21 in games he's started, not including this game.

Yep and Diaz has been hitting really well. Maybe Diaz could get a start now and then at 1b, but we need Walker to get back his swagger.

If only that was feasible. He couldn't catch the flu at 1B if the pitcher ran halfway and underhanded it to him.

    Ooo oo lemme try...

Muhfuhgguh couldn't catch a break at 1B if Altuve himself unwrapped his KitKat before babybirding it for him?

Blubaugh leads the league in scoreless 2-inning relief appearances 8.

Devenski has the Astros record, or recent most.

Disclaimer: Half-assed heard from radio broadcast, but AJ definitely leads the league.

So Vazquez is now 31-21 in games he's started. Yanier is 16 and 25 in games he's started.

Why does Joe have Hader warming up in a 9-3 game in the bottom of the 9th with 1 out and 1 on base...?

Probably because he hasn't pitched in 4 days and you don't have to worry about games after tomorrow since he'll get another long break. If it quickly becomes a 9-5 or 9-6 game, you want him ready instead of having him start warming up then.

Because the only way Blubaugh is coming out of th game is if he gives up at least 3 more runs, in which case it’ll be a save situation. It’s stupid, but I’m pretty sure that was the logic.
