Making Reed and FVV obsolete His shot looks really bad tbh. Mehcnaics, lift and fade on literally every posession he doesn’t need to. I don’t think this will translate to actual games at all. We’ll see hopefully I’m wrong
Guys like Copeland with decent size who can do a little bit of everything but don't excel at any one thing are a dime a dozen. A guy who can handle the rock and drop 27 points on 18 shots while only turning the ball over once are not.
He's 22 and the average summer league age is 23 - 24, yet he is currently top 3 in scoring on excellent efficiency. I get his older than the average rookie, but that can only downplay his performance so much.
Solid game for Thornton. Looks like a strong second round pick and I’ll enjoy watching him this year - he is very strong. I wouldn’t compare him to guys like Acuff or Peterson because he is like 3+ years older than those other guys.
We're all just having fun here, but I do think Thornton's athletic limitations are a bit overstated. His shuttle and vertical were basically the same as Wagner's.
I'll trade him to Brooklyn right now for Egor Demin. Or, since Denver just watched him play, we can trade him for Braun.
Not sure he’d take that - it’d be approximately a $200 million dollar discount with the future supermax escalators he’ll obviously hit.
