As if Ime would put up with having a minder.

OFFENSE? WE DON'T NEED NO STEENKEENG OFFENSE!

On the other hand, if it forced him to quit and Fertita would be off the hook for the rest of his contract....

Mike D’Antoni coaching a double big offense with no point guard is a recipe of disaster.

This roster sucks and our trash GM is punting the season again by standing pat. Not even Gregg Popovich can turn this team around.

we all know this is the last year of this team IF (big IF) it doesnt work out
    - We trade KD, vets like Adams likely trade some young guys who dont fit our team and rebuild around Amen, Jabari, and Reed. We have 2 lotto picks coming in. Sengun can definetly get a walker kessler type trade for us. we do a soft re-set. KD gets 2 picks. then we find a player who might fit us

I just saw that Ime Udoka, Mike D'Antoni and Tiago Splitter were all Asst. Coaches to Steve Nash during his first year as Head Coach in Brooklyn.

Sooooooo Udoka knows what an offense should look like. . . . . but chooses not to employ it.

Why do you think MDA decided to leave the Rockets while on the plane trip after getting eliminated in the playoffs?

MDA got sick of being told to “shut up and listen listen!”

MDA ***** out more basketball knowledge each time he takes a dump than the current Rockets organization has combined.

Plus, then the GM would have to worry about someone more qualified than him watching him.

Greg Popovich was the Head Coach of the Spurs for 29 straight years. He won 5 championships, none back-to-back.

That means he didn't win a Championship 24 times as head coach.

Rockets gave Adelman and D'Antoni, both outstanding coaches, only 4 years each to bring a Championship to Houston before making their life hell. D'Antoni should have just retired from being a Coach in Houston if he wanted to retire due to age.

That's while also seeing James Harden on that Nets team. That's after being an assistant to Gregg Popovich, who was the greatest load-manage maxxer all time, who literally created one of the most efficient offenses in NBA history in Udoka's time there.

So it's sign Fred VanVleet over Harden, overplay older players running them into the ground, and ignore offense altogether for 90's defense (when Udoka himself never played pro ball in the 90's)

    Lol.

Thats what Udoka thinks of hiring a competent offensive mind that might tell him "no".

When your head coach needs an advisor you have the wrong head coach.

I doubt MDA want to work for Stone and Tilman again.

The warriors just got Frank Vogel. This isn’t the right mindset at all. Not to mention he had Mike Brown, Terry Stotts. More brains in the box is beneficial not detrimental.

@Nook why do you think the Rockets seem so complacent with the current coaching staff? Yes, part of the issue is the horrible roster construction, but a large part is also due to the offense of lack thereof being ran. ALP isoing at the three point line is not exactly optimal and there are many more examples like this, as you know.

What’s worse than a bad coach? A stubborn, bad coach.

There is ZERO chance that Stone and Udoka are interested in any power dilution moves.
