I doubt the guys attacking the ships are the ones negotiating. That is what happens when you kill the leader of the country and put the next in line in the hospital. That leader was probably the most progressive of all the options in government.

 

My understanding is the IRGC heads aren’t even part of the core negotiators. It would be like North Korea cutting a deal with Mike Johnson and Hakeem Jefferies instead of Trump, Stephen Miller, and Elon Musk… who we all know are the real power players in our current regime.

Trump is mopping the floor with the Iranians. The MOU and cease fire was intended to buy time for the USA and the world to line up oil supply chains. With that accomplished, and with storage levels up, and with the price of oil having dropped, the Iranians cannot play their one and only card -- which is the oil price spike. Now the Iranians are crawling back to the table and begging like dogs! More of their infrastructure and military has been wiped out with this week's strikes. They are being destroyed by Trump -- both on and off the battlefield. And the world benefits as the threat of Islamic terror is reduced and Iran's military is neutered. No nukes ever for the Iranians -- that goal has been secured.

You guys aren't even smart enough to understand Trump's chess moves. Iran is absolutely screwed.

As I said, the Iranians are crawling like dogs back to the table because they do not hold the cards. Their oil infrastructure is in a tenuous place... and their military is in tatters. They played a dangerous game and are losing badly. Unlike past US Presidents, Trump will not let them get away with their dirty tricks. Trump is holding them accountable to the deal, and if the dumb mullahs step out of line, then they get bombed. They must learn their lesson -- and Trump will be an excellent teacher.
