I'd honestly rather have FVV than either. FVV brings something on the defensive end and culture side that neither Jalen or Ja have. KD might be our star but he aint leading ****. Sengun has leadership traits but he's still not a cemented star either. FVV genuinely is the main guy we have who brings leadership skills, I'd rather him than either of the 2 significantly more talented, flashy and less effective players you'd rather have.

When we stop looking at JG through the lens of “breakout candidate” and more accurately assess him as his true comp “80% of Jordan Clarkson” we’ll all rest easier. There’s nothing wrong with Jordan Clarkson..10-ish years in the league, played on a bunch of teams. The only regret is no one ever used the 2nd pick in the draft on Clarkson.

For the record, when it comes to my sock puppets, zeeshan2 is one of them that is much more valuable to the board than my whiny Sam sock puppet. I'm pretty sure if I discontinued my Sam sock puppet, no one would even notice let alone care. If I discontinued my zeeshan2 sock puppet, everyone would notice that the entire board was instantly poorer for it.
I like Jalen as a human being, but many of our fans were deluded on what his actual NBA talent level is. Nothing wrong with being a spark plug off the bench kind of talent, which is where his career seems headed, but JOFs were claiming he was the next MJ. We simply failed picking him second.
1000%. We should have traded him when he boarded Tillamook’s private jet, the stewardess says “we’ve got a 5-star chef on board for our flight, what would you like for lunch?”, and JG says “Flamin’ Hot Cheetos please!”. Also heard on the same flight - “While we’re on the topic of Flamin’ Hot, did I ever tell you the story about my buddy Jaygup?”.
