    Good contract. Seems like a good dude. One year guaranteed is kinda cheap but works in the Rockets favor.

    I don't see how he's going to guard anyone in the NBA being 6'0 and being as slow as a typical center.

    When i watched him in college, nothing that he did looks likely to translate to the NBA. It's MUCH more likely that he'll be an MVP of a foreign league or maybe the G League where the average skill level is low enough for those shortcomings to not matter.

    I think he will be better than most people think, also. Especially people who think Daishen Nix will leave him in the dust.:)

    Seems like a "high floor / low ceiling" type of SRP/ late FRP (if we are being generous). If he's a true thicc boi, he will learn to use that defensively and to finish through contact. Optimistically, he's an off the bench PG/combo guard depending where the defense and shooting lands.

    I'm not holding my breath on Thornton.

    I like his style of play but NBA defenses figure out how to contain even the best players. He's not a guy who blows you away in any capacity. I think he could get owned in the NBA.

    Have you seen his splits and efficiency?

    He isnt mean to blow anybody away he is a complimentary guy who take the pass from Amen Sengun or KD and convert that bucket.
