    I also hope the Lakers sign Kuminga so he can take the place of Ayton's as the team's underperforming malcontent.

    according to Mychal Thompson, Lakers radio commentator and dad of Klay Thompson, Looney was Kuminga's mentor on the Warriors team.

    Kuminga was the antithesis of the Warriors' team culture; Loony's job was to keep Kuminga in line, such as it was.

    Mychal thinks signing Looney paves the way for the Lakers to sign Kuminga





    on rare occasions, Kuminga (with help from Looney) was able to fit in with the Warrior's team concept
