I agree with you not either side should not bring politics to a sporting event. But how trump/america treated the iranian team, referees and other personnel is just damn disgusting.

and also, that call was definitely not unjust. if it was any other country, that call would of remained in place. FIFA is just trump's little b****.

Yeah, I mean, Belgium beat them pretty badly in a recent friendly, and they may have our number.

But I also think Team USA was ready to play without their best striker, that they had practiced and gameplanned the whole thing... and then, OH, he's back, well okay. Who knows, but they seemed totally distracted and passive today. Really disappointing.

Also, you'd really think we could, in a nation of over 300 million, find a better goal keeper. Just my 2 cents.

Trump’s stupid ass admitted that he didn’t even know what a red card was

he always has to inject himself into everything and ruin it

    fat, depraved, low IQ narcissist

amazing that a president who has destroyed this country and is currently getting his ass handed to him in a war that he started has time for FIFA and all these other vanity projects…meanwhile his base of MAGAts can’t even afford food while they’re on their knees worshipping him

Typical "they're bad too, so who cares" deflection, except in this case it was only the US that was shady and interfered, not the ROTW. And plenty of people care what others think for good reason: perception shapes alliances, trade, diplomacy, and credibility.

I saw a version of this, except the statue was peeing in the reflecting pool. sad that some people can only see this through the eyes of Trump.

Caring what other people think distorts ones perception of the Truth and what is Right.

Basing decisions on the perceived opinions of others is foolishness.

    It’s a guess based on a fantasy.

I mean I've only played for 45 years (in college, high level amateur, had 2 pro tryouts), been a nationally licensed coach, run leagues, been a referee, etc etc etc...but I don't know anything about futbol because I'm "woke".

    Dumbass.

Since you are a futbol expert all the wokes are also experts and not fat....

It's great being able to talk to the woke master him/she/he/her it themselves. I can go straight to the source. Can you like tone it down a little with the American hate and tell your people to stop race swapping characters in movies .. Thanks soccer woke breh....

Your first statement is actually pretty complex biology and psychology. For the most part I agree, but it's more complicated than that.

The other statement depends on the first, so that's really where the discussion is. Here's how I'd put it instead: caring about approval (wanting to be liked, avoiding discomfort) distorts your perception. But caring what others think, when it means taking their reasoning and evidence seriously, is actually a tool for correcting our own blind spots, not the other way around.

BTW, we have a POTUS who is hostage to wanting to be liked, needing approval at an extreme level, to the point of being pathological, which probably impacts his viewpoints and actions significantly for the worse.

Where have I hated on America? And why do you give a sh** who plays what in movies? Is that really what bothers you? How small and pathetic.

    Really, that's just sad.

What good has our alliance been with Europe?

    Shitty trade deals?

    The bill for their defense?

    EU fining American companies?

    Oh no!!
Kier Starmer will have a bad opinion of us!

He helped cover up the rape of 250k girls

    Who cares what he thinks.

Same there as here, the left covers for the Rampant minority crimes and fraud because they need their votes.

And now in some areas they are out numbered

They made a deal with the devil for power and now watch it slip away. You now have the most degenerate and violent parts of the left allied with the extremely conservative Muslims.

And the Muslims will lie to whites/ to infidels if it aids them

    No honor

    Only power matters to them

I couldn’t give a **** how Europe judges us, especially over a soccer game.

Well, that's some extreme takes, that are common among the mainstream right today.

Frankly, this take is a good example of not doing this: "when it means taking their reasoning and evidence seriously, is actually a tool for correcting our own blind spots, not the other way around."

You have strong opinions, and you simply ignored facts that explain why those are poor opinions. I remember that from a previous exchange with you, so I won't bother arguing against your points here.
