Uchi - best sushi in Houston. Second best is MF Sushi in the museum district Anthony’s- Way the F out in Simonton, but amazing food and drinks. Oporto - try a caipirinha, croquetas, and batatas bravas and share around. Le Colonial - Vietnamese/French fusion in River Oaks. Go for a date night/anniversary. Musaafer - Galleria, best Indian food in Houston.

Uchi had one of the best meals he had in years but I hear it’s a chain now Your last recc…no way it’s better than Agas?!
Also: Katami, Baso, Bludorn, Milton's/Lee's, and Camaraderie were semifinalists in various categories.
Oh wow, that menu looks (especially since it has pictures) and sounds great. Wilcrest, baby! Need @MadMax to give a whiteboy review
Honestly didn't love Katami. But I would try it again. Shame I'll never eat at Aga's since it's in the middle of nowhere and I'd have to take the axis of **** that is the 59/610 exchange.
How have you never been to agas ? It’s supposed to be the best in the country. Went the other day, service also OP AF
Too many Indian food recommendations. Indian food isn't good. Truth BBQ is definitely worth getting. Try the Brussels Sprouts & the Banana Pudding. Chicken Tinga Taco at Tacos A Go Go is probably the best Chicken Taco I've had. Breakfast Tacos at Pit Room are an absolute must-try. Retrospect Coffee Bar has great Coffee & Crepes. Rainbow Lodge is still the best patio in town, and their Chicken Fried Venison is amazing.
I love Agas. I also saw a small roach walking on the wall last time I was there and although I know it's common for us to have roaches in Texas, I still have a hard time going back. Their food is damn good though. I'm sure I'll get over it eventually. Himalaya Restaurant goes hard as well.
a roach would give me pause, but the food is too good so I’d probably excuse it if it’s a one time thing what would for sure never make me go back to a restaurant is if I saw a rat or if there’s hair in my food
What’s the best pizza spot in Houston? I feel like Houston pizza is mostly mediocre NY style was my favorite until I had Detroit Style in Chicago
I lived in detroit for a couple of years.. their pizza was the only good thing about that place Interesting question though...I have never been to a legit pizza place here
thanks for this Not a fan of indian food generally but if you haven't been to Agas you should check it out. Nationally renowned..
