I could see the Blazers going after Durant. They did pick up Ja Morant.

Do you think that a starting lineup with Durant/Sengun outperforms one with Duren/Murphy?

Why is Murphy all of a sudden a superstar around here. Clutchfan trends always amuse me.

I think everyone is just looking for a young, big floor spacer and he fits the bill.

He isn’t a superstar. He’s a solid player with a fair amount of experience and on a relatively easier contract to acquire. He can serve the Rockets for a longer time than KD. The Rockets do need another 1st round pick along with him.

LeBron decision is likely holding up any serious interest in KD at this point.

Take every hyperbole thrown at Sengun about his playoff performance and pretend that it’s true. Even under that scenario, Duren was worse. He’s a **** defender with no offensive game beyond catching lobs and is even more undersized than Alpi. Alpi is the superior player and it’s not close - no matter what the morons who voted him 3rd team NBA think.

For all my distaste for Durant, he’s better than Murphy - at the very least, he carried our offense at times and helped lead us to a winning record. Murphy has played like a role player on one of the most consistently bad NbA teams his entire career. He’s not a floor raiser for this team.

    My point stands.

Teams that IMO would have interest.

    1.Detroit (already known)
2 SA or OKC? Very smart organizations. Would they give up whatever is required to give themselves an increased two-year window.?
    3. DC-Hone state. Lots of different ways their roster could go.
Golden State, as a backup option if LeBron doesn’t go there.

Portland interesting but sure. I know that he is not been super efficient, but I have a soft spot fir Shadon Sharpe ability to generate offense., Durant for Sharpe/Henderson really allows us to recalibrate with the timing on this roster, but give us a lot of depth.

We need a slasher and haven't had one that was worth a damn since Harden left.

    My thinking is

    Detroit
Minny (what assets do they have left?)
GS (I don’t think KD wants to go there)
    Toronto
    Boston
Cleveland (if they miss out on Lebron)
Heat (what assets do they have left?)
    Orlando
    Denver

Give me Shaeden Sharpe and one unprotected and one protected pick top 5 and you got yourself a deal.

been watching Sharpe here in Portland his entire career. Poor man’s Jalen Green, but definitely on a better contract. if picks are also coming back I get it. I just don’t believe in him. Low bballIQ. His shooting did improve last season though

I'll admit I was pro trading KD recently, but as I look at the options I haven't seen any offers that come close to what we'd be giving up. If someone can give us a package of players with upside and picks that help us to continue the growth path then I'd be all for it.

If not, hopefully we can minimize KD's ball handling time and focus on getting him the ball where he can just continue his elite efficiency. Maybe we're not a championship caliber team, but if we'd just run some decent offensive sets and take advantage of the different skill sets are players have we could be a much better team than what we showed last year. Couple that with some improvement by the youngin's and we may yet have something to get excited about.

I wonder if rockets take a chance on Ivey w/affordable type contract. But i doubt they do something like that.
I here Miami might sign him, but i bet hes out of the league for those comments..

Well atleast for another year or so until he can prove himself in euro league or something. Probably what he has to do if he did want to get back in at such a young age tbh..... Maybe 2 save his career..
