A bigger economy, more options, sure. Greater disposable income on average, yes.

Yet poverty is higher than in any other Euro country, and median work hours are higher. People are able to work fewer hours while making ends meet.

Tens of millions struggle to afford adequate coverage. Our top tier healthcare capabilities are world class, but what does that mean for the average joe if we still have mediocre national health outcomes?

I'll give you that this is primarily a health culture problem, on top of being a healthcare system problem. Still, a USA problem.

#1. The inner cities are in America, African Americans aged 16-30 are Americans, every bit as American as me and you, I'm not going to void that data.

#2. The white people here are still significantly more violent and deadly than in Europe. White homicide rate in the US is estimated to be around 3.5 per 100k from the rough data I've seen (we don't seem to carry any official data on homicide offenders, just victims). High homicide rates (4+ per 100k) in low black population states (sub 5%) like West Virginia, Montana, South Dakota, Alaska, Oregon and New Mexico can testify to that.

US for sure has bigger cars/houses, and cheaper material goods, I don't personally associate this with a higher quality of life, but some may disagree.

Similar to healthcare, we certainly have premium top tier options, but good is the education system as a whole? We aren't bad at all, one of the top countries in the world, but not the best and there are a healthy amount of Euro countries with similar if not better testing statistics.

Our military involvement makes me feel less safe, quite frankly.
