Apparently you didn't watch the last 4 games of last season. Or any game against an above avg defense.

CJ's what's known as a star padder, front runner.

His trade value won't be very much if he plays like he did the last 4 games of last year.

Along with his OL, WR room, and offensive play calling.

You've already written him off. It sounds like you want to tank the season.

CJ sh*t the bed. That is NOT in dispute.
For better or worse we're stuck with CJ UNLESS you want to go with Mills or sign someone off waivers, etc.

We can draft another QB in 26' but what makes you think that Caerio and Ryans won't botch and ruin his development like they did CJ's?

Hiring a ROOKIE QB coach to develop CJ was one of the all-time STUPID decisions in franchise history. CJ was a Lamborghini and Caserio/Ryans sh*t the bed.

I'm trying to maintain a positive attitude that CJ has overcome his issues and that he's going to be fine. All aspects of the offense should be better and so should CJ. If not then we'll have to dump his ass and find another.

No, with this defense they should never tank a season.

Yes, I've written him off and consider this season to be a wasted season. I hope I'm wrong, CJ lacks intestinal fortitude.

Don't let sports fandom ruin your life. None of those millionaire players and coaches give a damn about you.

Didn't look like the rookie OC hurt CJ's development after his rookie yr. Then CJ decided to go running around Africa with Parsons instead of working on his craft. Then CJ blamed Slowik for his failures and CJ wanted more control. Hence the Caley hire with a new offense that gave CJ the control that he wanted. The results are the results and it appears CJ is in over his head when trying to run the offense that gave him control. Look at how bad CJ was running the 2 min drill throughout the season if you want to see a confused QB.

Yep, everybody on the offense sucks but CJ.

OL, RB, WR's, I guess Schultz gets a break but he shouldn't get one. I cant wait to see what excuses are going to be made up after this season to explain away CJ's shortcomings?

Joke was on Texans fans last yr and probably will be again this yr. But hopefully not because CJ decided to put in the work this offseason because it's a contract yr.

    All I’ve been is reasonable.
Unless it’s going back and forth with very specific posters.
The way you interpret it, is a you thing.

It’s not two games. Last year he was only good for 4 total games for the entire season.

No, but you went to extreme hyperbole.
    Maybe not be so sensitive?

You're the poster that pointed out that the OL/RB's/WR's all suck and use this to defend CJ, but I'm the poster that's being emotionally hysterical and dishonest. LMAO

It's like you didn't watch the games last yr or you're being emotionally hysterically dishonest. Or to give you the benefit of the doubt, you didn't have a clue what you were looking at. I'll give you one thing to think about when it comes to CJ's play over the last 4 games of the season, it was historically bad. I'm guessing you know the definition of the word historical. If not you should look it up. CJ was that bad.

That's true. It's a risk, but it's still a possibility someone might think they have what it takes in coaching and on offensive surrounding players and targets to make him excel more than he did in Houston. They might prefer a guy with experience who did decent under a crappy offensive system.
