Bogdan Bogdanovic (Leaves Clippers) Signs With Houston Rockets

Unless the problem is not with Reed, or Stone and the draft, but with Ime and white generational talent who didn't play overseas and went undrafted. If that's the case then the coach should be fired. Please lord please. I guess we will have to wait and see.

I need to adjust my take. After Reed is demoted after Bogadan and Smart and then the playoffs begin and Reed is called back into action because both got hurt. I love Reed. I'll be honest. Or at least I hope in Reed. Ime, on the other hand....

Bodgdan is a minimum contract and he can score. He’s approving NBA player so as long as he is relatively healthy this is not going to hurt. there is definitely some upside if he could earn and maintain 15 minutes a game in the rotation.

 

There’s absolutely a decent chance he’s washed but for a minimum signing with his shooting pedigree it’s fine. It’s not like we gave him 3yrs/$21 mil guaranteed like we did with 2-sandwiches Capela

 

He has the potential to come in and flash a 20 point game when the occasion calls for it. Every minute will be valuable at a modest cost. Will be able to eat minutes in a long grueling 82 game season without jeopardizing the lead.

At first i seen Bogdanović, was hoping it was Bojan, then i read it was
Bogdan, and immediately cringed lol

Typical rocket signing old vet bones who aint worth 2 bags of Cheetos anymore. What nobody
gave him a offer sheet?

Lets hope he can still get the ball off, when he gets a open shot. good grief..

 

He’s one of 3-5 minimum contracts every team needs on their team in the Apron era. There is no reason for anybody to be upset about this signing.

 

Bogdan and Smart are incremental improvements to our bench. Both are solid vets and I expect both to contribute to Ime's rotation. Having Bogdan on the 2nd unit with Tari, Adams and likely Reed (or Smart) adds to that groups BBIQ and shooting.

The beauty of these additions is they're both really cheap compared to the upside they bring to our team.

 

Bojan is a retired 37 year old, I would of expected you to cringe regardless based on your post.

 

Is he going to be next season's DFS? Will he forget how to shoot once he puts on a Rockets uni?

 

He hasnt had a good shooting season in like 3 years. Career 38% 3pt shooter.

Hes had some really hot stretches and some awful ones as well.

Im not sure what to expect out of him, but I lean more towards him not being a difference maker here based on the way his shooting has trended and I dont think our offense will make it any easier on him.

But who knows.. maybe we get lucky and he has a resurgence season. Just a minimum contract guy so it shouldn't be devastating if he doesnt play well, but knowing Ime he'll probably get 30 starts here.

And that is totally Stone’s MO. He is always making these long shot moves in the hope we get lucky. He did it Nix, KPJ, and DFS. Now with Smart and Bogi. Last year he passed on guys like Ayo and NAW, wasted cap space on Adams, Capella, and DFS while many on this site were screaming for some of the guys that signed for peanuts elsewhere. He wants to be the genius that finds lightning in a bottle for a pittance. He is a terrible GM, if he really is the architect of this so-called plan.
