I think they could substitute Robinson for Stewart in the original suggestion and make it work. I think we should be able to do better than that. I would love to dump Kd on Charlotte for a frp and their huge trade exception. That would give the Rockets immense flexibility over the next year or two. Unfortunately I haven’t seen Charlotte as a team interested in KD. They do have an extremely stupid front office though.
they do have other players that fit that last 20% rather than my wish list: Robinson and LaVert come to mind.
When you know the chemistry is bad, you have to make a change. Just ask Boston. They were willing to take less to avoid a soap opera and seeing things fall apart. We've already seen this group not be able to gel. It's in those moments that a GM can make a change and avoid headaches for everyone.
capela for aj Johnson makes sense slot aj into whitmore tpe and generate a new 7.035 million tpe to go with the 13.335 million tpe from dfs trade whitmore tpe expires monday
I do think highly enough of the twins, and both of their long-term potential to where I would entertain bringing in Ausar even with the immediate issues it would present in regards of fit. Maybe they would be interested in Sengun? They don’t seem eager to max out Duren. Maybe they want to lock in a cost controlled front court player. And try to sign in trade Duren for somebody that can help Cunningham with the scoring. To Houston Ausar Myles Turner Tyler Herro(Signs extension, 4 years 150 Million) AJ Green gets dealt to Houston into to the TPE To Milwaukee Robinson Capela Thornton FVV Houston 2027 FRP, the worst of the two. To Detroit Sengun Trent jr 2031 Houston 1st ***Yes I do put that value on Ausar. I also think there will be an interesting element if the twins were able to play on the same team in regards to just the chemistry aspect and understanding each other. Many twins are essentially telepathic and I imagine that that would be helpful. Obviously, you have to surround Them with shooting to even give it a chance. Adams would now occupy a roster spot, but play pretty minimally. Smart and the twins, the only three players in the regular rotation that can’t shoot. Turner/Jabari/Adams Jabari/Eason Ausar/AJ Green Durant/Reed/Bogdan Amen/Smart
Would you attach picks to dump sengun? Turner is worth probably -1 firsts and herro on that deal probably would take 2 firsts to dump.
Yeah I don’t really think where you slot the players and this too important anymore. I mean, I guess, sure bump them up to small forward and just swap them around. If you had Amen+Ausar and they were both limited to playing 36 to 38 minutes again. meaning don’t burn them out over the course of a season. I think that you could do a lot with that as your core. I think Durant fits right in there as a shooting guard inside of a lineup built out around those two. he would be outside of the three-point arc a lot more than usual. Although we could still use the mid range game. with both of those boys being Off the ball There would be plenty of opportunity for him to pass, although he doesn’t seem great at that from that spot. Frankly you could just start Smith. With the combined superpowers of the Thompson Twins I think you could largely offset the fact that he is not currently built out to be a stretch five. Smith Ausar Durant Reed Amen now that I’m thinking about it that almost might be preferable to bringing Turner to start, although he still brings shot blocking which we would need. let him come off the bench if we trade for him and it doesn’t seem quite right. with both of the twins in the lineup, you could cover for Smith being the center. Smith/Adams Ausar/Eason Durant Reed/Bogdan Amen/Smart yes, I think if that was to be your nine man rotation and they were to be healthy that that team wins over 57 games.
