I’d try KD first and settle for one or two of those picks. Sengun will have trade value for years. This is the last year KD will bring back anything.

What would it take to make Alpi and Amen compatible? it is reasonable to think they will both improve from three-point percentage over a period of a few years. It is hard to see a massive jump in percentage next year, although I do think Amen we’ll have a markedly improved efficiency from the corner. otherwise, ingenuity on the offensive coaching side. We know that that’s not gonna happen. I just saw Billy Donovan sign up to be the head assistant in San Antonio and it made me puke in my mouth.. so since we know those things are largely unreliable or unlikely to happen. It really ends up being about the fifth player in the starting lineup. Sengun Smith Durant Amen I tend to think that you go ahead and plug in Shepherd and see what happens. He is developing as a ball handler, but he has shown the ability to make quick basketball decisions. Eason, will never do that. Trade Durant if possible, but in this version of the starting lineup, Durant spends a lot of time outside the three-point line and we open maximum spacing for whomever is handling the ball. Sengun/Adams/Smith as stretch 5 Smith/Eason Durant/Okogie Reed/Bogdanovic/Thornton Amen/Smart I love Okogie and IMO we should bring him back. He truly cares about his team, but it does add another player that isn’t inconsistent shooter. Still, though I love him, and I think he can be a winner. Leaves FVV/DFS/Capela to be moved on. I think if we run this to start the year, we will get a lot of good data on Reed And figure out exactly what he is. Plus, it will allow us to see how Thompson does in the lead role. If Sengun Being on the court, just doesn’t provide enough spacing that can be fixed, but I want to see what Thompson can do. Start Smith on the two-year track to becoming a stretch 5. Again, all of this is kind of annoying because Sengun Has shown to be a very affluent passer and is a pretty great ball handler for somebody his size. If there was any inclination to try to be creative on offense, we could integrate these guys. We really go out of our way to make it hard on ourselves.
The way the market for bigs has been, I feel like we could possibly trade away Capela for a 2nd round pick. Maybe we could bring back a min salary player for depth at any position [into Whitmore exception] If I'm not mistaken, that could put us up to $6M below the 1st apron. Opens up the chance to ditch DFS using the pick for a lower salaried player in return and potentially open up the rest of the MLE (almost $9M) before being hardcapped

Scoot is the odd man out since the Ja trade despite his improved playoff performance vs the Spurs. Trade DFS and CC plus the Nets ‘27 1st round pick and 3 future seconds for Scoot Henderson. This works on the NBA trade machine. Scoot and Reed can be retained.
I think Murray is a good target and the contract fits the Durant window plus we can aggregate FVV and smaller contracts. He came back towards the back half of the season from his Achilles injury (1/2025) and has a full offseason to get back near his previous level. On the other hand, it would be a risk health wise still only a year and half removed from the Achilles and he's not a great shooter.
Feels like a move with Amen/Sengun/KD is less likely. In that case, in no particular order: Jrue, Dejounte, and Herro Personally, I lean towards Herro since he would open the floor so much more for Amen and Sengun. They all their different injury concerns and Herro comes with an extension potential. I think the trade hasn't been finalized so Herro can be routed our way.
You cant tell me Bulls would not do Houston a favor. Fred going back to his hometown, Bulls get pick. Rockets IN : Patrick Willams, Issac Okuru Bullls IN : Fred Van Vleet, Dorien Smith, future 1st rd pick. Rockets get younger, I just think Pat would be nice addition. Okoro would be a excellent player along side Reed, Tari, etc.. Fred Can go read Lullaby's over there.

They've already agreed to trade Stewart. They are not trading Twin's twin. Would likely need Duren in a S&T to make money work. Though, that would mean Detroit would prefer to trade him than matching a contract from another team.
