I'm getting a deja vu. Astros had a good road trip at the beginning of the season and then completely **** the bed for weeks as soon as they got back home. Lifeless and complacent. Joe Espada teams are predictable at this point.
You don't care about one spot in batting orders. Hence your argument about this topic the past 3 days. Still waiting on this response to your idiotic claim. Name the manager who was fired for lineup changes. Fired immediately. The troll is shooting wildly, hoping to hit anything.
Would bet on this Rays team collapsing in the 2nd half unless they make some major additions. Their lineup after their first three guys is shittier than ours.
Astros waste a great effort from Arrighetti. Offense had a pathetic 3 hits and one walk. Cam got thrown out advancing to 2nd in a game we struggled for any baserunner. Astros only needed 3 pitchers so that helps. Hader, Blubaugh, and King all get rest.
Well they got close to .500. Now they’re heading the other way. Never getting to .500 should finish Joe off.
Play close games, you eventually lose close games. We had a ton of good luck in June when it came to those. A team that is consistently getting outscored isn't good. Maybe lucky, but not good.
Red Sox have been sucking at home for the whole season too. Allthough they are not talking bs about batters eye and injuries. One vet player came out and said young guys are more focused on the road team being more as tight group together and remember what the mission is and at home they have lot of distractions and the pro attitude gets lost. Espada runs such a tight ship that we could't have inch of that . Jokes aside I think our guys do whatever they want on road too because they know there is no demand level in this team. Joe will say the same s**t depending did we lose or win or how that happened so they have him mental mute. Also great lineup today, put Jake in there to make sure we won't be getting anything from 6-9 spots.
