Lebron and his people alluding that if he were to return to the Cavs, it would need to be without Harden. Would y'all give it another go?
Not yet. I would be willing to consider this if Harden wanted one year before retiring and he is willing to be the 6th man. There is a nonzero chance that Harden just retires when he no longer can get a max or near max deal ... which means he wants to the first option of offense.
What is the price? We figured out a long time ago that he couldn't be the 1st option on a championship team. And these past few seasons have proven he can't be the second option either. If LeBron wants the Cavs and they have to move Harden to accommodate him, then I would take Harden into the DFS trade exception if he wants to sign a 1 year, $13M deal. Start him at SG, see what happens.
