A pouting cancer that’s injured most of the time. In today’s money it might not be a absolutely terrible contract but calling it good value is a stretch

FVV also tweeted about letting go doesnt mean he will pack his bags and retire.

Tari is obv an emotional person and he is posting at the moment he is disappointed. It doesnt mean he will never be able to process it and realize he still made generational money esp since we are months away from season start.

I guess you dont remember Tari pouting last year and getting over it after a month. Wanna bet he wont spend 5 yrs pouting about his deal? You guys are jokers.

Right. All those guys are wrong only you are right lmao.

Even just on the face of it 10/5/2 for 25 mins as a defender playing 60 games 16M is normal rate for a non rookie contract. Thats MLE money which what most average bench players make.

Atrocious signing. Gets $81M and complaining (as usual).

This deal will not age well at all. Doubt he plays 20 games next season (or any season). Soft as tissue paper & now bitter.

You do realize you’re making my point right?

if he can’t control his emotions after making 88 ****ing million dollars, how do you expect him to control his emotions for even little stuff.

it’s plenty of players way younger than him that may be emotional, but know how to be professional and not pout online when things don’t go their way.

It’s not adding up. Turned down 100M to sign 81M over a longer period of time. He knows his body best and this is his decision. This will be great till it’s not. Both he and the organization know more about his health then we do.

Grimes signed for less and is more efficient player. What is the other team we are matching? Have we outbid ourselves.

1/2 a decade is a long time for someone that spent 1/2 the year on injured reserved.

It’s wonderful but weird at the same time.

What do you mean all those guys are wrong? If you’re referring to the FO you mean the guys that get clowned and have been proven to be wrong over and over?

that’s not a metric to bolster your position. Like I said, if you’re inured half the time and half the time he’s playing he’s pouting do any of the stats you posted help?

I could have a guy doing 15ppg that only plays 30 -40 games a season. Would you still say he’s worth it?

this organization is trash. They overpay because they have to

Who cares? What does him pouting on X in the offseason have to do with him as a player on the court?

I dont know Tari I dont care if he cant control his emotions. At 16M he still a fantastic deal and thats the bottom line.

So half of 82 is 60? Yeah I would take the FO over a guy who doesnt even know how many games Tari played. Calling this contract an overpay shows you dont really know what NBA players make.

And no, I meant all the people on twitter including Bimathug who knows more about these things than you.

If he stays healthy and plays decent this is a great contract. That being said his track record is not good when it comes to staying healthy so I guess we will have to wait and see. I am glad it is done.

IF he knows he's a bench player and doesnt blow up the team with his malcontent tendencies, then this deal is barely acceptable. Big if though. And expect him to be injury plagued as usual.

I mean that’s your choice. If you want to put your faith in a team that keeps losing in the first round to teams it’s favored against maybe you’ll wake up when the results demand you do so

there’s reality and there’s wishful thinking.

If you look at the stats and ignore that KPJ beat women I’m sure you’d think he’s a great player too. So maybe your logic is a bit flawed

You’re the only person on the forum that thinks this FO is good, so I’m going to put my faith in myself and every other online presence that has Called this trainwreck. They don’t know what they’re doing and the results demonstrate that.

Until otherwise is true..you don’t have a leg to stand on other than stone is a lawyer who watches ball sometimes blah blah

    Your cleary young and obtuse.

The main issue people were discussing was him ACTIVELY POUTING DURING THE GAMES AND IT WAS EFFECTING HIS PLAY.
You know the thing that the 16m / yr is paying for him to do.

    You got it.
I can tell from your comments you think your right about everything and can’t see outside your own viewpoint.

Great deal for a player that has actual impact potential. Wish it was for 4 years, but at that number hard to complain.

Was never a fan of tying up 25-30 million for him. But at glorified MLE money you can take the risk on his inconsistency. I think now that the contracts out of the way, whether he's thrilled with it now or not, he will be fine once he starts playing basketball again.

I already said he pouted last year and it lasted a month not 5 yrs. We have data how long his pouting lasted. You are the one acting like he will pout forever and always dog his play. One tweet and he will pout and suck for 5 yrs lol. You realize KD dropped his files about Rockets sucking and Jabari being regarded but still played at an all star level and became 2nd team all nba? People can be immature and still play well imagine that.

You are the one who thinks you are right about everything and nothing will change your viewpoint.

I have a contract question… is he eligible for trade this season or after this coming season if they were to pay his 10mil trade bonus?

@roslolian this is the dude that just signed for generational money and the level of professionalism he displays

Does everybody remember how many games this dumbass cost us with his selfish play

He almost threw the heat game away because he demanded to inbound the ball . Thankfully amen bailed him out at the buzzer

It definitely did not last a month, now you’re coming up with random timelines
