It seems that the Rockets are managed by a kid.

Have you not seen where I posted their TS% and ft percentage? Ausar only plays a quarter less than Amen and averages 50% less pts. Amen averages 59% TS, lots of coaches would give him that many touches and rope as he is pretty efficient at converting shots for a guard.

Paying Amen 40M would not be like paying him like an allstar. Do you know what the NBA max is? Can you tell me?

You are in this delusional land where you think Amen is just worth 20M a year just cuz he cant shoot. Ever heard of Giannis? Omg dude cant shoot he a scrub amirite.

I think you hope that you can get a salary similar to Sengun with Amen.

Sengun makes 38M so yes 40M is def dimilar salary and not an all star pay lol

I wasn't arguing with you... I actually agree with you, but I suppose Sengun is a two-time all star.

Cherry picking true shooting without considering usage...

Citing Amen's shooting efficiency as a guard when he only takes shots in the paint like a center...

    Comparing 6'7, 200lb Amen to 6'11, 250lb Giannis...

And most damning of all, no comprehension of value vis-à-vis the salary aprons. Jaylen Brown, an all-NBA all-star in the prime of his career with a ring on his finger, was only worth 2 picks because of his salary. Amen at $25M is an asset. At $45M a year? An albatross.

LaMelo no, Brown maybe but not at the cost of picks. I am more interested in getting rid of bloated contracts in FVV, DFS and Capela

Has Stone (or the team) made any public comments after the Rockets' recent FA signings? Is a news conference to introduce them in the works?

Can someone ask or find out if FVV is on track with his recovery? There are so many posters who actually believe we intend to trade him away. I don't think it's in our DNA to trade Fred, and I don't think our front office believes in making moves mid-season.

While we might be listening if others make offers for Sengun, Durant, or even DFS, we're not shopping.

Maybe we'll get a note on the final roster of summer league before tipoff.

Soo it brings me back to my original point. The offseason is still disappointing until proven otherwise

Half empty just means I measured it. Doesn’t mean I don’t want it full

i wish rockets never traded for KD. should have just kept building through the draft. KD has screwed up everything.

Plenty of posters on this forum wanted us to trade Harden and tank.

Rockets fans were so delusional thinking tanking was gonna magically win us the chip.

We deserve this period of mediocrity to remember that even getting to WCF is a good time.

I watch Rockets games very bitterly, hoping that the organization will figure out how to get out of this mess. We probably have to get a lot worse before getting better (get to 2nd round in playoffs, much less get to Conference Finals). I don’t want to be right, the ball is in the Rockets court to find a way out of this mess.
