    This part.
He doesn't tow the company line
    or
follow the "he's a dumb athlete" mythos

Honestly I think he is better than Tatum

The power in the East is shifting and I would not be surprised if the Celtics rebuild. The Knicks, Heat, Wizards (if healthy), 76ers and the Raptors are tough teams plus you add the tough western conference. Not a bad time to restart. I don't see Tatum being traded until later next year as he proves he can still play and Celtics can get the most out of him.

I do not believe that you actually think he is better than tatum. That is SO absurd and SO beyond reason. Maybe you like him more for whatever reason which is fine but in terms of them as players they are not close.

Don't forget about a healthy and improved from the finals run Pacers team. Cavs are still going to be up there and maybe even higher if they land Lebron. Pistons will still be a really good team. East could be 8 deep.

Yup...I don't know why I forgot the Cavs and the #1 team in the East, Pistons.

There was a reason he was the Finals MVP
He managed to get the Team pretty far with Tatum out

Do you also think tony parker was better than duncan? Iggy was better than curry? Just because a few people decided to be trolls? Again, your take is SO absurd i’m sure you’re just trying to be funny but it’s really not.

Did Iggy lead the Warriors - sans Curry - to a great regular season record while putting up a 2nd team All-NBA next yr?
Did Tony - sans Duncan - do that?
It's almost like you perceived his post as such an obvious troll that you turned on troll mode and went ham.
Your reply is - by some distance - more troll than claiming JB > Post Acl-Tatum.

LOL 10th on win shares/48 on the 2012 Nuggets years before he won the FMVP is somehow the same thing? Iggy was 4th on that Nuggets team in pts/g. JB avg'd 12 more pts/g than any other regular starter on the Celtics last year. That's the same thing? Led?

You're so overwhelmed by what you perceive as a troll that you've quantifiably jumped the shark. GL w/ that.

Here come the hit pieces on Brown -- just a flood of what a terrible basketball player and human he has been. Boston was absolutely FORCED to make this garbage trade after Jaylen's outrageous diva behavior (see also: Doncic, Luka).
