There’s no fun in not b*tching about everything. The team was ass to watch…proceeds to watch and b*tch some more on clutchfans lol.
We have two more roster spots to fill if I counted right which will be vet minimum guys.Don't need another guard at this point. I went through the options, it's not great pickings Probably too expensive crowd Rui Hachimura- Will get signed for a solid amount and I don't know if after all these signings the Lakers can even afford to do a S&T Marvin Bagley- I think he'd be pretty good for us but I saw they are expecting something like ~$10 million. Dallas could probably S&T us for Capela or DFS but we'd probably have to send them an asset which I don't think is worth it Kenrich Williams- I think this guy would potentially be great and he won't be that expensive, but S&T not an option and I expect him to get part of an MLE and sign for like ~4-6 million somewhere Bruce Brown- I assume he will be back with Denver for a solid deal but I haven't heard any buzz on him available but weird fits Kyle Anderson- Last year we really needed more ball handlers and Anderson brings that, but he offers like no spacing and is just kind of a weird player. If we hadn't brought in a ball handler in Smart I think maybe it'd make more sense but I don't know about it Trendon Watford- Similarish in that he has some playmaking abilities and is probably a better inside scorer but not the best defender and terrible for spacing Gary Payton II- undersized although he plays bigger than he is and can't space the floor, though he's an effort guy Aaron Holiday- could always run it back but I think Thornton was drafted with the hope of replacing Holiday's minutes, don't really need another undersized guard, probably time to move on probable options Anthony Gill- I'm really intrigued by this one. By all accounts a great locker room guy and ok stats on paper though he wouldn't give meaningful minutes. David Roddy- smaller than I wanted but we've had him in house before and I remember him as an effort guy, and seemed to do ok in Denver Josh Okogie- running it back, though I'd be worried about Ime overplaying him over Reed Jae'Sean Tate- couldn't find the floor last year and probably wouldn't next year but he is the longest tenured rocket Jeremy Sochan- could be an interesting redemption project but I could have arguably put him in "weird fits" since he can't space the floor Jalen Wilson- Nets didn't offer him a QO which may be a sign, but ok on paper stats and he's young and got some size I expected when going through this list to find more, it's slim pickings for these vet min guys :/
Cause and effect would dictate suggest that Dickerson is the closest thing we have to a franchise player. If not him then who? Sengun? Amen? Stone and Patrick haven’t attempted to build around either of them.
So now we're down to minimum signings and tari. What I'm looking for is whether Okogie comes back? I think he was valuable despite not being a shooter and I'd like him back. Tate, Holiday, and green can walk.
76ers fans consistently point out how streaky he is and none of them seem upset he's gone. I have yet to see 1.
We are already set just lock up Tari and resign Okogie and call it a day. Tari and Okogie are flexible enough to play either wing spots and Tari can even backup 4. At we have 3 centers, at guard we have FVV Smart Reed Thornton and at SF we have KD and Amen.
I think the starters should be Sengun, KD, Amen, Fred if healthy and then a 3 and D shooter like Gary Trent Jr. Then we have a loaded bench, Bari, Tari, Smart, Reed and Adam's. Just my opinion
Who's healthy? Old players get older not better. The young guys better take gigantic leaps forward or we're screwed.
