    The 76ers could be deadly next season. If Embid continues his trend of taking a back seat even more on offense that will be huge. That team going to be so hard to guard. VJ is going to improve and you can't double Maxey anymore because Brown will just kill you.

    This trade makes very little sense... I guess we either straight up didn't want him or we didn't want to give up Durant and they wanted a wing. Really hard to imagine this is the best offer they got from an 8-way auction value-wise.

    Trading for Brown would have been worse.

    Brown is a diva who wants to be the number one guy, but is a mediocre decision maker with the ball, nor a particularly efficient offensive player. He wants super maxes, he wants his own team, he’s talking **** on social media / streams all the time. A lot of KD’s problems mixed with a little bit of Westbrook/D’Aaron Fox.

    Paul George would cost 2 first to dump. Brown was just traded for a neutral value deal, and it wasn’t because the Celtics FO is incompetent, it’s because literally no organization believes in Brown. All teams had plenty of time to think about this, and this was the best offer.

    The Celtics must really hate Udoka. KD is so much better than PG, even when considering age. There are so many permutations of deals we could have done that would have been better than what they got. Spite has to be in the mix.

    It was reported by everyone that the rockets were not high on JB. So that along with the fact that Boston also wanted him gone tells you the league as a whole is split on him at best.

    I think a lot of that has to do with teams around the league being turned off by what his agent is demanding for his contract extension coming up.

    If I had to guess it’s almost more about his agent and the financials than it is JB the player.
