Umpires have a heinously large strike zone for Altuve which is why he gets so many ABS overturns. Chicken or egg situation: Does Altuve swing so far off the plate because he knows umps give him a shitty zone or does he have a bad strike zone from umpires because of his reputation to swing away wildly? I guess that shouldn’t matter. Umpires should have a consistent zone for every hitter.

Imai-ght get it done or Imai-ght not… hope he’s lockedTF in.

Team needs EVERY win it can salvage, whether in the first 3-innings or the last 2. Cannot afford bonehead losses nor multi-run deficits in game.

also, glad this WorldCup game tonight is going to show the financial/marketing/operational gurus up top the org that they dont have a sell-able product which qualifies for fan-service.

just f*cking win & be smart about it if luck isnt on our side.

Just when you hope Imai is going to pitch well.

Seriously, Josh bell must have at least 1/3rd of his stats against us.
Whatever game plan they have for him is not working.

You never know what you’re going to get from any of these jokers not named Hunter Brown. Just zero consistency.

Starting pitching is still a huge problem. I hope Imai settles down. Even when they’ve been winning, they’re constantly down early.

At this point we have one reliable starter and he hasn’t been able to pitch deep into games this season yet.

Lambert has had a good run, but his FIP is a run higher than his ERA and his career ERA+ is 86. He’ll soon be at his career high in innings pitched.

No other starter has an ERA below 4 and Okert, King, and Hader have more WAR than any starting pitcher other than Lambert.

Too many pitches. Too many walks.

Get ready to warm up blue balls.

No kidding, unfortunately Javier and lmj aren't seen as the cavalry.
Maybe Blanco and wesneski after ASB.

Imai has to have the highest of the high and lowest of the low this season as a pitcher.

When he's good, man can strike out anyone.

When he's bad, dude can't throw pitches near the zone.

We should keep running spaghetti, burrows and Imai out there?

Imai seems like an opener, I don't know how many more 1inning outings we can take from him.

First pitch in all 3 of those strikeouts should have been swung at. Instead they go down 0-1 and then swing at junk.
