No it wasn't he rarely turned it over, he just didn't drive as often as he should have. And further behind the Spurs, OKC and now the Lakers..... All these 30 something injury plagued players, playing for a coach who over uses players.....what could possibly go wrong? DD
Player A 16.4 points 4.2 rebounds 2.9 assists 1.7 turnovers 51.8% efg 2,189 minutes 7th place for 6-man of the year Player B 18.6 points 4.0 rebounds 4.6 assists 2.1 turnovers 55.0% efg% 2,147 minutes 6th place for 6-man of the year
Ime wants to win with defense and offensive rebounding, which has never worked in the history of the league. DD
Is Craig Hodges available to be hired as a shooting coach? Listening to him talk about the intricacies - both mental and physical - of shooting, I have to believe he could be of great use to the franchise.
I’m debating not watching this next year. the amount of personal time drain for a franchise that clearly wants to give complete reigns to a dimwit is not worth it are we following the rockets or the Houston DumbDokas? Because it feels like that latter
I'm not like opposed to signing Smart. I've always thought of him as like a rich man's Pat Beverley. Body of a point guard, but the skill of a traditional small forward. Gritty. Defensive expert. Sort of glue guy. However the real issue is the offense going into next season where Stone and Ime still seem oblivious to the fact that they actually need to have an offense, and not just throw the ball at Sengun and KD at the half-court, and watch them suffer under pressure, coughing the ball up, or shooting an extremely difficult shot with the clock running out. Smart as your big signing/roster move just signals that Stone, Ime, and Ferntits are kind of delusional about the team they have. It's a good team that can compete for playoff spots 3 though 6, but ungodly to watch on a nightly basis, and a non-factor in the playoffs since again... this team has no ability to run an efficient, and effective NBA offense.
Great job Ime and Stone. The Rockets' main weakness was outside shooting, so they sign up Smart, a very good defensive guard with a career 32.8% three point shooting average. Genius.
Only 2 old guys (OVER 32) made it deep into the playoffs last year. Harden and T Harris. As I predicted last year the NBA is going through a youth movement and it was a major reason I didnt want KD. The Rockets yet again are behind the times and when they realize it, it will be too late. New offensive coach and getting rid of the old guys is the best play here.
Harrison Barnes Seems like it could just be a factor of which teams advanced. In another year an older team might.
